The issue with The Sims is it has lost the soul and direction. Will Wright had directional control of 1-2 and input in 3. The developers of 4 are all out-of-touch Silicon Valley locusts in Austin and scattered Eurofag Millennials working remotely who ignore fans and don't respect the origins and themes of the franchise. 4 was a originally supposed to be an online game, hence partly why the engine it was built in is extremely limiting. 4 has an excess of "creative" developers without sufficient coders. 3 was so ambitious and world encompassing it scared the executives to make 4 less complex enough to run on shitty netbooks.

The Sims 3 and all it's packs could just be remastered, tweaked, and refined into the base game of 5 with better coding and new worlds/expansions. Of course, they'd have to find a way to milk it. I wouldn't get my hopes up for 5, they'll royally fuck it up somehow.

I can't recall which theme that was used but I remember very vividly getting the hell scared out of me both by a burglar and by a goddamn raccoon dropping by to mess with things. Also the crank calls that say weird shit.

Whicked Whims gonna get one heck of a boost from this pack.

Can't imagine this shit will add anything to the game. You can already piss, shit and fight anything in the base game and nothing really topped Spellcasters since it pretty much lets you break the game wide open without any additional baggage to do so.

She's getting mad at what people are saying in tumblr tags, not even a proper post. She was behind the werewolf design.
They look worse than furries, what did she expect.

People keep calling this furry tier, but none of the werewolves even have hair on their heads. Checkmate.

Honestly the art seems on par with the tone of the Sims which is supposed to be lighthearted fun over anything particularly spooky. Even their vampire stuff was pretty tame all things considered, but they also made them look pretty badass with veins and stuff. I wonder if this is the same artist for the vampire expansion. If not then I wonder how cartoonish they'd make them.

Sadly, SimGuruEmory, the dev that was one of lead designers for the TS4 Vampires GP, left EA years ago. And I don't know who is the lead designer for the Werewolf GP, as a comparison.

Honestly my largest complaint with the werewolves are that they all seem to have the same body type, same head type, same ear type... there's nothing to differentiate them except fur color. This is... abysmal to say the least. The easiest way to fix it is to add hairstyles or "manestyles" to the werewolves. The other way is to basically let you shape the body as you see fit, but that'll take more work and it seems they prefer to be lazy and have only one type. I haven't seen everything so I may be wrong, but the trailer isn't inspiring confidence.
