So EA actually could deal with pay wallers making modding a shitty experience in Sims, but they’d rather deal with modders who remember what modding is about. Optionally customizing your experience.

I don’t think woke devs/mod sites want to die on the hill of controlling how people play, that’s how you get uncaring normies to start caring.
 
So I stumbled onto this video criticizing the Sims 4 and Inzoi, and I think it shows how even those who are willing to criticize the current state of the sims, they don't look beyond the trees and see the real issues that caused a lot of trouble and why it runs like shit.
Basically the guy criticizes the Sims 4 for being an over decade old game with more expensive DLC than any game before and all of the content has broken it, and how the Sims 4 is an easy game compared to its predecessors, but then he goes on to criticize Inzoi, and while I do agree that its a clean game that lacks the character that previous Sims games has, he then goes on to cry that Inzoi is "too conservative" because it doesn't have gay townies for you to fuck and that's when he lost me. With how much EA broke the Sims 4 with all of the gender shit that's what ticks you off? Really shows you where the priorities of this guy lies.

Building the tiniest, most functional house is one of my favorite thing to do in The Sims. Of course with copious amounts of custom content and console commands. Turns out you can cram a ton of crap in small spaces in Sims 2 with OMSP's, moveObjects 1 and snapObjectsToGrid 0. That being said, CC will always be better for tricks like this, like the aforementioned OMSP's.

By the way:
-Green energy stuff was added in Sims 2: Gardens and Mansions. You could buy wind farms and solar panels and it would lower your electricity bills, much like renewable energy works IRL.
-The fact EAxis added crypto mining instead of denouncing it is already a miracle, and the menntion of market volatility is just the truth that every cryptobro knows.
-Moralfagging over occult themes in a game series that had magic and supernatural themes since 2003 is just the biggest /v/brained reach you could possibly make, good lord.

Try to play some vidya for once instead of making up reasons to seethe about it. All the shit you're showing are the least egregious offences Sims 4 has committed.
 
Game was released in 2014, how the fuck do they still release DLCs for it, it's already a total feature overload. Elden Ring released in 2022 also got a new add on, they no longer allow you to finish a game, I have finished Stardew Valley (released 2016) years go, also still gets new content, didn't they even make it woke? I'm sick to death of games as a service, every game is an mmorpg now I guess.

They don't even fix the most import problem with the Sims, time management, having a marriage and a baby is an insanely amount of work. And how does every gadget, even the good ones, in the house break pretty much every week. How does a toilet break every damn week.

And they made the green shit more part of the game and way more annoying, they turn off the water during the day and you have to deal with the neighborhood action plan bullshit, I guess I picked the wrong map to play, glad I never did spend money on the game.

Steam shows me 98 content for the game so I just asked AI, combined price of $1235, totally insane.

If you truly cared about keeping the house clean, then you'd bother to do a little research and call out every Sims game that did that, no? But I get it, back when Joe Lieberman and Jack Thompson did their crusades, Postal 2 and GTA:SA were actually the current thing since all activism only acts shocked when something happens right now, without doing any deeper research.

I personally like the Eco expansion, it's perfect for my dystopian cyberpunk neighborhoods - and you can turn the voting bullshit off in the options, that's a no-brainer.

Just mod/edit the fags out. Edit the trannies to be normal people. You know, PLAY the game - editing sims is as much gameplay as playing their lives and building houses.

Also, you don't need to buy the game, Sims 4 is free on the EA app: you can pirate all the DLCs while still having access to the gallery. Anadius is your friend.

Yes, Sims 4 is a walking pile of woke slop; but for me, half of the fun is undoing that shit and modding the game to make it playable.

Watched a few of that guy's videos. It's nuts how the Sims community just lives in this prepubescent bubble. Not disclosing sponsorships, straight up lying about their own involvement in paid content that they review, general girlboss behavior as they continue to groom their straight white suburban female demographic.

Reminds me of when AC:NH made it big and got a bunch of Stacy types into gaming, only to start berating Nintendo for doing Nintendo things.

Back when I used to play alot I just watched that gay guy that hated EA (butt sex jokes get a bit old though)
And the guy that just calmly goes through all gameplay in each pack/xp
Everyone else just felt like they were hired by EA directly

between this piece of vaporware and Witchbrook rising from the grave, I have to wonder if we're in a cursed timeline or both dev teams were inexplicably murdered and replaced in that span of time
I can't imagine any other reason for this shit taking so incredibly long
