literally no competition, TS3 is FUBAR, TS2 and TS1 are too old even with remaster.
fucking sucks seeing TS having no competition to a point of being able to kill itself with enshittification and still remain the top dog, really.

I know lots of sims 3 started the microtransaction stuff with the sims 3 store. But god, this, growing together, and parenthood are temu generations that could have been thrown together but you know EA. Generations was an awesome EP too with the amount of gameplay for families. It is what I expect from EA, s onot a surprise.

Sims 4 went ham on the progressive shit when they did they got rid of the sex differences and added the tranny shit and that was back in 2016 I think when they brought in that restaurant pack.
 
"Quality of life roadmap" my ass, they're just telling the players to hunt for bugs in the game and vote on them. They're not going to fix pilled-up bugs from a decade ago, they're just going to look at the most voted ones to 'fix'. And by fix I mean fucking up another adjacent thing and make you download half your script mods all over again because anytime they mess with the game something breaks.

I wish I was wrong, really. The save-corruption bug is something I don't miss from Sims 2 days.

This feels off. The imaginary friends in the sims 3 were cute if a bit offputting looking, bit of a vintage vibe.
This looks like its trying to create the next sonichu or mike&melissa or smth. Just like sims 3 you can also turn the imaginary friends into real sims and presumably date them. I hope actual kids playing the sims skip this pack, god knows what itll do to their psyche.
And that rainbow dash feels bordering on copyright violation. Like that looks straight out of some cloppers fanart with a horn slapped on for legal reasons.

Look at that fuxked up face and hooved hands. There was no need to make the animal imaginary friend a horsegirl btw, they couldve gone with any more suitable animal if they wanted an animal one so bad.

Given how degenerate EAxis is, I'm surprised they didn't just ape My Little Pony porn for the design. Slapping a pony head on a recolored human model is 1000% more visually appealing than this horseshit. The nose is too short and the face proportions are too human, and the three fingered hoof hands just look off. Make those like four or five fingers and make the fingernails have a hoof-like surface, holy fuck. :stress:

I was a little girl when mlp fim came out, that is Rainbow Dash. Literally just Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow hair, light blue skin, and magenta eyes. Most rip offs at least give her a different eye color, usually just purple, but they gave the imaginary friend magenta eyes specifically.
And she wears athletic clothes.

They gave her wings too and kept it on the human form. They probably would have given her rainbow hair too if they didn’t have to add that into cas, all the other friends have the same hair.

Her being the “evil” one (idk what that means? Evil trait?) was probably because they thought it was funny to make the rainbow pony evil, but Rainbow Dash is also hot headed and a little mean sometimes.

Noticed that the human form has darker skin, that’s a fairly common thing for humanized versions of her too. Even if she’s drawn as white she’s usually tan.

This is an official figurine hasbro did a partnership for, looks pretty similar, but more of an interesting color palette. Why does the imaginary friend go from rainbow and blue into purple and pink?

The imaginary friend just looks horrifying. It doesn’t look cute or whimsical. It looks more like a rodent than a pony. Why does it have a pig nose? The wide mouth looks so freaky on a human face.

It's been such a long time since I played, but never change EA. Never change.
 
With the rumors of EA getting bought out by the Saudis and going private, what are the chances of the rainbow shit being rolled back in TS4? On one hand, the rainbow shit is engrained so deep with both the game itself and the staff, that removing it all isn't feasible since it would probably break the game even further. On the other hand, how hands on have the Saudis have been with their acquisitions and the rainbow shit in them?

Part of me is thinking please god, this will be funny, and remove the rainbow shit just to see them seethe. Saudis are obviously very hostile towards LGBT and rainbow stuff, and have restricted various games, or had them changed for their regional releases. Removing it all would break it, but would be hysterical to see many scream in rage. Don't know much about their other acquisitions. I think the most realistic thing they will do is tone down the rainbow stuff heavily, and not do major promotions about the gay stuff. I suppose they'll mostly keep it regional.
