The Sims Modding Community - "[Sims 4] Incest, Teen Romance, Babies For Everyone and more! UPDATED FOR 1.5.149.1020!"

Some of these spergs almost exclusively play with the dull and ugly premades, occasionally giving them a shitty makeover.
They are also obsessed about Maxis match vs Alpha custom content and keeping their game "pure" with stuff that matches Sims 4's shitty cartoon graphics.

I've noticed a lot of them look down on people who play with CC and they even get upset with people who use cheats-- I mean, really upset. Like if you don't play the game exactly the way EA wants you to their world is going to come crashing down and you must be corrected.

i havent even glanced at any of the games for more than a few minutes as of late, but i poked at maty anyway and discovered that pescado is actually still alive and quietly releasing sims 4 awesomeware on the same old forum as always

its kind of reassuring honestly but i cant help but feel like he picked the absolute shittiest game possible to focus his energy on. oh well
I still use Awesomemod for Sims 3, and not just because EA had the big-brained idea of putting the CD check in the game itself and therefore mods can serve as no-cd cracks. It really does make the game run better and with modern hardware the only downside to Sims 3's performance are the brutal load times. Pescado liberating paysite content is nice too, especially since most of those are gone off the internet anyway now.

The sperg outs that Pescado used to inspire with the paysites mustbedestroyed stuff were pretty good too. He even was early to the game of posting legal and other threats to mock them, a tradition that provides many laughs to this day. Like this girl (Archive) that deleted everything over her donation items being uploaded and said she'd send her black hat friends after Pescado if her husband wasn't "in the government". Their war with TSR was brought up earlier in the thread and is a good read too.

I find the game (Sims 4 at least, the other games not so much) impossible to enjoy without mods and cheats.

There was the Insimenator forum drama when it was sold off, Pescado downloaded the entire site, (mods and all) and a mirror was set up at which point the original died. It was years ago but I remember the poor sap who bought it had no idea what was happening at the time.

Some autistic news. The Sims is getting a reality competition for modders:

What I noticed from the video was the amount of girls to guys ratio in terms of the contestants. Yes, The Sims series has always been known for the large amount of females that play it, compared to other games, but I wonder how that show would turn out if there were more guys in it instead. Given how it seems like with Sims videos, the females are into creation, while males are more into making sims of interesting proportions and mass killing, I'd rather see the latter. Trying to imagine a competition with guys like Vinesauce Joel of The Sims 4 Meme House fame, CallMeKevin with the Jim Pickens series, Robbaz with his Sims 3 Redneck Brothers series, and RTGame with the Bob Family, would sound more compelling, at least from the male viewer.

I also wonder if there will be any consolation prizes for the people that don't win in the end.

And I do wonder how they'll handle if a game-breaking bug were to occur, but given that (I think) this is a pre-recorded show, and not a livestreamed event like other E-Sports, I'd say they'll choppily edit any obvious bugs out.

The trailer for the new Knitting SP is out:

A pack like this would be more fun with the old CAS model where you could really "design" items, and maybe even an interesting online selling system that went beyond "always sells for X amount of $$."

But this is EA. They probably made it as bland as possible.

When CC mods make sims look horribly out of place like some 4d abomination. maxis match is a blessing to a few. Plus the CC sims require a fuck ton of mods which bloats up hdd space for one sim you dled

I've been checking out the sparkd challenges. Same shit as the regular gallery, different tab.

In defense of Maxis Match, it tends to have a lot more variety in style than alpha, especially when it comes to clothes. I tried alpha once but too much of it is glammed up celebrity inspired normie shit that makes your sims look skanky (not to mention all the K-pop...), but MM from what I’ve found has something for every taste. Both styles do seem to have a thing for crop tops and high wasted jeans though which annoys me mostly because I barely see anyone wearing that combination IRL but sometimes it’s all you can find when looking for Sim clothes.

The pee o' sea are pissed that EA prioritised naming cow plants over making the darker skintones look more "authentic" and providing more black-oriented content. With shilling for MiraMira's exceptionally named "melanin pack" again too - every time they mention melanin I just think of retarded black supremacist pseudoscience.
