The next TS4 Stuff Pack has been revealed, it is Paranormal Stuff. Yeah, EA is really scraping the low bar in regards to TS4 content, and surely this could have fit with the vampires and witches in one pack, instead of selling them piece by piece.

Can't have too much of a good thing with EA the last pack they did in my opinion was really good this one is just as usual a shallow money grab that no one really wanted with stuff that was more fleahed out in sims 3 without needing their own pack. This is why I pirate their games and I won't even pirate this new one

ETA I find it endlessly hilarious how the community keeps shitting on EA, screaming that they're being basically scammed but then the moment new content drops these bitches run to enter their credit card details. All of the top dogs love to complain and call out this greedy business practice but then you realize they have every single DLC, which mind you comes to a grand total of around $700. Nice going guys, that'll show em.

I would be fine with EA piecemealing expansions if they took the opportunity to flesh out each expansion a lot more. Like for vampires give me a neighborhood with a storyline like Dawnguard for Skyrim where you get to side with the different pro or anti vampire factions, like tapping the vampires' ultimate power or finding a cure for it. Add fleshed out magic school to a wizardry expansion for that sweet Harry Potter fans' money. I know they experimented with a story-based expansion for Sims 4 but they haven't done another one yet. I'll just stick to my Sims 3 complete collection now that PCs are powerful enough that the game doesn't run like ass.
Also let Sims 4 expansions go to $10 every once in a while, I might actually buy the couple good looking ones.

IIRC on Christmas pretty much everything on Origin is 50%-70% off, those were the only times I bought DLC because I'm not giving fucking EA more of my hard earned money than what they deserve lmao. So if you aren't in a hurry to play, just waiting until next December would be your best bet

they've gone on sale fairly regularly ever since ts4 "launched" on steam, except ts3 packs haven't gone on sale since, ts4 packs are still absurdly overpriced and i wouldn't fucking buy them any way jesus christ don't give ea money.. just use the anadius installer

So, I wasn't even thinking about this anymore after so long and had completely forgot about the drama (I unfollowed him shortly after as it wasn't even funny anymore) until "Jacob O'Connor Senior", the supposed father of that old-ass looking 13yo boy sent me this yesterday:

For some reason, he mentions he created a font called "Jacob Cursive" and uploaded it to only one site. Well, the most popular font website there is is DaFont, and sure enough there's a Jacob Cursive Font uploaded in 2016 by a Jacob O'Connor:

And where searching for this e-mail address takes us? Besides more The Sims results, little else other than a Reddit account (archive) used by a man in his early twenties named Jacob Anthony O'Connor from the Gold Coast (Australia), which coincidentally also happens to be the moderator and the only member of a subreddit dedicated to The Sims 2 custom content, a fan of the Sims franchise in general and a calligraphy enthusiast:
He claims to be 22 years old in January 2019. So he's 24 now. And according to my previous screenshots of his shitfit over the couch back when he still claimed to be "Joy Anne" in August of last year, he was 23. Therefore, not old enough to be a 13yo's father unless he impregnated someone when he was 10 or 11 years old.
Here's his handwriting, which is very similar to the font:

Anyone here remember Sims Medieval? That one very short-lived spinoff that had a really interesting idea behind it, but barely sold and was soon forgotten? In case you've never played it, it's a 2011 Sims 3 spinoff set in a medieval fantasy setting that keeps the core dollhouse gameplay of the series while adding RPG elements and special roles and professions for some characters in town like blacksmiths, healers and wizards. On top of that, it was probably the most adult Sims game out of all, with alcohol being called by its name and not replaced by euphemisms, women being able to breastfeed, characters having sword duels, and the ability to execute any random person as a king if you wanted to. Not to mention, it had a beautiful artstyle and some of the best character models and designs in Sims. I've been thinking of it recently for no particular reason, and I keep wondering why didn't it do so well. While the idea of combining life sim and role playing game was really fun , the main problem of the game was, in my opinion, that there was hardly any influence and progress on the surroundings, and no matter what characters did, the town stayed the same. And I think I have some ideas of what could be a really fun game.
So, first of all, you start as a lord with nothing but a tiny castle and some land around it, which all gradually develops depending on things you do in game. While playng as the lord, you write laws and decrees, make trade agreements with offmap lands and keep the subjects happy and loyal. Gradually, more people appear in the town and more roles, each with special goals and gameplay, which you are free to change between during the game. While you play, special quests for each role that influence the town would appear. Stuff like: "You're the healer, and people in town keep getting a strange rash, find out why" or "You're the merchant and your carriages keep getting plundered by bandits. How would you deal with that?" But, as a player, you can freely skip any quest and just play as some peasant family you got attached to, while things keep happening and changing around you. And that way, there is something to do for any kind of player. Wanna play Crusader Kings Lite? Be a scheming nobleman sweettalking people into joining you and assasinating the lord for your own gain, while arranging for a beneficial marriage. Wanna play a life sim? Be a baker, run your shop, become friends with other townsfolk, buy and store grain while spending time with your family. Wanna just chill? Be a herbalist living next to the woods, pick berries and make wooden carvings for your home. If all these things are implemented right, that could be an extremely fun game.
Anyway, sorry for the autistic TLDR, but I just had to write all these thoughts down somewhere, and this if the biggest Sims thread on the forum and that's somewhat relevant to the topic. And if any game devs are reading this, feel free to steal this idea, that would only make me glad.
