The Slums of Elwood - A Most Peculiar Arthur Forum Indeed

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
Kerry9story is arguably the only interesting lolcalf in the circus. The rest seem autistic, but tame and more conserved in comparison. She’s posted her bare ass before on the slums, and admitted to liking only “nigger cock”. Last time I checked up on her, she was supposedly pregnant. I wonder if she got rid of it?

With the news that the PBS kids show Arthur is officially ending, and they are releasing some kind of final epilogue episodes, it brought The Slums of Elwood to mind, and I decided to see how they were taking the news.

First, I ran into some discussion from a few months ago about new episodes:

don't keep up with Arthur, but seems like the characters have recently all been aged up by 1 year or something and there's a Sikh character idk
it's admittedly Alex's ascension to a major speaking role that sparks true euphoria within me
Yeah, between the Thesaurus of Euphoria and Letter Salad I'm not even gonna try interpreting ANY of this lol
Here's what seems to be the the big thread about the series ending.
R.I.P. Arthur (October 7th 1996-Februrary 21st 2022)
This thread was posted with an annoyingly massive picture of a coffin.

...and a Chance the Rapper rendition of an Arthur song

Someone posted a gif of DW throwing a tantrum, and someone else said they don't know if this is an unpopular opinion, but they aren't upset about it ending.

Only three replies, kind of dead tbh
Scrolling past titles such as:
"Gay Screenshots" and "Suggestive or Erotic screenshots"

I found the thread about the announcement that Arthur would end at season 25
mike1 says "they still shown it"
He either means, there will still be reruns, or it's still on TV today so it hasn't ended yet. Not sure which.
Some sort of Muffy RPer responds in character

"muffybottom" is sad, but thankful for 25 years of BUTTS

MonkeyKing interprets mike1's comment as "there will still be reruns"

It seems MonkeyKing may have misinterpreted mike1's point, considering he saw the need to repeat with clarification, and then immediately add additional clarification.

Apparently, the season finally aired, and the final scene showed the cast as adults. From what I can tell, this what they grow up to be.
  • Arthur now sports a full head of hair and is an author whose books are revealed to be the basis for the entire series. They also got his original voice actor to reprise his role.
  • D.W. became a cop which is absolutely fucking horrifying. However, she could just be a traffic one, but still.
  • Buster became a teacher for some reason.
  • Francine works at a sneaker company and honestly looks like the most stereotypical depiction of a Jewish lesbian I've ever seen. She also noticeably looks a lot rougher than the rest of the cast.
  • Muffy's running for mayor which is also absolutely horrifying.
  • George owns the Sugar Bowl, and no longer always has his puppet, or whatever the fuck that giraffe thing was with him.
  • Binky is a weatherman who makes wrestling puns.
Interestingly, Fern, Sue Ellen, Brain, and Mr. Ratburn are not mentioned, or seen whatsoever.

Weird.

Imagine the carnage online if they'd paid Crowder to come back for the finale.
