This is a genuine question, I'm sorry if I'm retarded. If they're going to use AI to help on the trip does that mean we need the data centers taking over Ohio or is it similar to the autopilot that regular planes use?

Super excited and happy I saw this live with the friends and family. My mom was crying that she was alive to see another mission to the moon <3

I don't get it, is the rocket going to Iran? Why should I care if they aren't airdropping pallets of cash to Israel?

Man the nasa broadcast sucks, they cut away for the booster jettison and cut away from the separation camera after a second. It's pissing me off.
Most of the aux cameras didn't work either. They tried to cut away to first person views of separations and you were lucky to get 1 solid picture out of any of them, lol.

Gotta love government ran anything.

Hey, I got a moon you can go around...RIGHT HERE IN MY PANTS HAHAHA.

>people ITT actually believe space is real
They are gonna hit the firmament, bounce off, and land somewhere in the ocean and we will get fake """footage""" of the """"""moon"""""" later

Also lmao the live chat posting flags of countries that have contributed nothing to space exploration.
My first thought, nothing like a good reminder that vast majority of people are useless to contrast with peak human scientific achievement on display.
Gotta say I was pretty disinterested when I learned they were just going to do a fly-by of the Moon, but watching the launch live was extremely exciting.
Aside from this being the first launch in half a lifetime, the prospect of new technology actually making Mars landing possible one day is exciting. This is little more than a warmup for someone that has been out of shape for years, but a good first step.

Can't wait for Trump to remind everyone how NASA had run out of rockets until he personally bought some.
