The Square Enix Griefing Thread

I'd be willing to see what an "NFT game" was like if it didn't involve turning gaming into some jank ass stock portfolio where you need to dump a fuck ton of actual money to even "play". While "playing" in this context seems to mean effectively just wheeling and dealing like we're some budget jpg + numbers trading Wall Street broker.

I'm open to seeing what this stuff can do, but literally nothing I've seen of any NFT based project has given me a positive reaction beyond going "huh that's neat" as an initial reaction. Then I try looking into it and I realize quickly that I could invest in an actual portfolio for the same price instead.

Considering how I've seen SE price their mobile ventures, I have little hope that they'll somehow revolutionize my perception of NFT games as a concept.

Time to start dooming? I know I don't trust modern SE when it comes to new battle systems. I mean just look at the last few SP FF games!
If it's anything other than traditional turn based, I'm out. I'm fucking sick of companies needlessly "updating" their battle systems.

At least Sony has games i care about. Only thing Microsoft has now is halo and gears and last I checked they aren't doing so hot.

Okay

By all means tell me how wonderful Xbox is.
That's not what I implied you absolute illiterate retard nigger faggot who suffered from ADHD. I literally stated that both Microsoft and Sony are shit, yet you couldn't be bothered to read so you are just projecting at this point.

Well that escalated. So you like pc?

I won't say Sony's perfect but they got all the square enix exclusives and nothing else really interests me in this day and age.

Out of all consoles they got everything a lazy non PC user could use. Their biggest fuckups are backwards compatibility and a lack of varied multiplayer.

Square even stated ff16 can't physically run on Xbox.

Fair enough but how much of that is consoles? There's been a lot of drama recently about the buyout of Bethesda and other company's I'm probably missing out on another thread.

By the way how is everyone feeling about ff16? They're had the confidence to recently say in an interview it's bringing back the old square touch.

Cool so it won't be a Dragon Quest Game.

Asking how much of Microsoft's two trillion dollar market cap is specifically Xbox consoles is like seeing the price of a house and then asking how much of that price accounts for the toilet flusher handle in the guest bathroom

Man, do you have like, no taste? What exclusives does Square Enix produce in this day and age that are even worth consideration (especially since any exclusivity is timed exclusivity, at best)?

doesn't change gears and halo being has-beens

FF, and its not timed either, unless you count PC ports as breaking exclusivity.
I would, in fact. If its on PC, it is, by definition, not exclusive to anything.

Whether they are equally shit is irrelevant. Shit is shit.
