Been trying to do our very own android raptor but it keeps fucking up for some reason, someone give it a try.

I love how these art twittards/"journalists" try to use the "it's an insult to life itself" quote from that one scene in the Boro documentary as a gotcha against these AI art modules...all the while leaving out some VERY important context that helps illustrate why he said as much...

It's not the process he's offended by, it's the SUBJECT MATTER of the presentation (which showed zombies or some shit), and how the movements reminded him of a friend of his with "a disability" (cerebral palsy?)

But fuck it, anything to spite people on the internet you don't like, I guess

🤷‍♀️

Gonna share these here too because I'm having a good time. A tip: sometimes it'll generate the whole thing and suddenly realize it shouldn't have. So keep an eye out and screenshot as it goes if it seems dicey.

The AI kept rejecting the Simpsons and "I cannot date Indian" ones, but this one went through with zero issues:

PROTIP: One issue I've had is that sometimes it will throw up a message stating that the person in the photo is real, so they can't complete the request. But I've found some luck with asking ChatGPT to instead draw a picture of a similar-looking man in the same pose. It's not a 1:1 recreation, but it's close enough.

I had to resort to that look-alike method for these:

I'm really kind of distressed that instead of being lucky in a way that gets me millions of dollars or something cool like that, all my luck seems to be concentrated in being able to convert any photo into an anime style without the software getting all faggy and refusing.

There used to be google colab notebooks with stable diffusion for weaker computers. That way you could try making shit like this without worrying about that. However, even that (at least the one I used to have, called segsmaker) takes up a large amount of RAM upon starting.
