The Swifties - A New Age Religious Movement Revolving Around Taylor Swift

Common Filth has been pushing the idea that Taylor Swift is a tranny lately and he makes some good, albeit cirulcumstantial points.

Initials are TS (transsexual)
Named after a man (James Taylor)
All childhood pictures are androgynous
Prominent adams apple
Distinct lack of feminine curves
Never married, no kids
Says that boys can be princesses

While I have no way of knowing if this theory holds any weight, I am willing to believe it and make attempts at convincing others of its validity because it is funny, and people get irrationally upset about it.

You can also trump any rebuttal by calling anyone that takes the bait a transphobe.

We have more proof that Taylor Swift doesn't actually exist than any of these dogshit conspiracy theories.

I am of firm belief that her cult was propelled by the American government to get Biden back in. She has been around for many many years now, decently popular but not to this degree, but due to tiktok and Women's Hivemind™, with the right push she was just suddenly propelled to a celeb cult the likes of which hadn't been seen since early 00s. You look at any prominent white woman influencer, she will be a Swifty. Going to a Tswift concert is basically a status symbol now.
As OP said, if she drops a political endorsement, all these women will swiftly storm the voting offices. After Pokemon-gotothe-polls failed, they had many years to find a way to get zoomzooms to care.
I wonder if she actually was on 4chan all those years ago and got chewed out for it.

Don't forget her current controversy regarding the Taylor Swift Private Jet tracker where swifties are upset there is a guy on Twitter who tracks all of Taylor's flights even documenting one that was only 28 miles, this leading to Taylor's team sending the account a cease and desist for "harassing Taylor"

Here's a Newsweek article I located on the whole ordeal

Another article including the X user responding to the cease and desist

Edit: To add my own personal rant since Taylor is someone I've listened to off and on, the music is decent. Evermore and Folklore are good, but I just like folksy sounding stuff.
I don't think Taylor's music warrants nearly the degree of frenzy you see from Swifties and find them the most obnoxious fan group I've ever witness overtake online conversation. I stopped listening to her after she tried to say that Kanye didn't get permission for the line in 'Famous' and then Kim dropped the tape. This is also around the time she decided to start aligning herself politically to get back in the public's graces once she dropped Lover since there was a large sub-sect of fans who would not interact with her while she remained apolitical though all they needed to check to what way she leaned was who she was associating with which was the likes of Lena Dunham and other lefties. I only started listening again fairly recently and can't stand interacting with the base.

They will be monumental in the first "AI Art" legislation, Ticketmaster and scalping issues, and probably several other laws to come.
The Ticketmaster problem is hilarious to me. Ticketmaster is predatory and fucking us hard. Ok, so stop buying concert tickets? How dare you suggest I not consoooooom!!1!1!!

I feel like the Kanye grammy moment should be in the OP also

It never surprised me that there was a sizeable fan base, what irritates me the most is this media blitz trying to shoehorn her into everything imaginable. I have always had something of a low opinion regarding Taylor Swift, she has always been something of a curated presentation to the public going all the way back to how she was even recruited as an artist, straight into the studio and presented an opportunity to make an album. She never really had the same closeness with the fans as some of her predecessors with a rabid fanbase in the same industry. One person I could pull out of my hat that had a rabid fanbase was Selena, but the difference between the two is that Selena came to popularity literally singing on street corners, dive bars and very small concerts, often mingling with he fans after the show, there was a closeness with her fans that was genuine and it literally ended up being the reason she was murdered, she was incensed over theft and embezzlement of money by a woman that worked for her that handled fanclub material such as sending out brochures on her upcoming appearances (pre-internet era) and she personally intervened in the matter.

There is a certain measure of authenticity that I find missing from Taylor Swift, to me, she has always come across as extremely stiff and using practiced media friendly smiles or poses, her interactions with fans always had a veneer of fake politeness to them and she just gives off the impression that she is only in the hospital visiting a kid with a broken leg or whatever ails them because it is a media friendly image to do so. I just don't like the robotic focus grouped image she has. As for her fans, it doesn't surprise me that there was fans of her music, it was designed for teenage girls, a demographic that is now in their late 20s early 30s, what should catch people flatfooted is how deranged they are, but I think most people here are aware of the increasing ability for the media and tech companies to create cult like fervor out of any matter and turn normal people into NPC brain damaged fools.

I like the article but the author needs to research and document how her father bought 100,000 copies of her first song. Most normies just go whichever way the wind blows but the fact her start was artificially propped up by her own down is foundational to how the public has been astroturfed.

Her music is incredibly vapid, and I for one believe she does not write her own music but that it is ghost-written. Unlike Spice Girls, Katy Perry and like, the ghost-writing is kept under wraps. Back in the day adults did not listen to Debbie Gibson or New Kids on the Block, that was strictly teen and even tween fare. Adult women into their 30s, 40s, even 50s listen to this schlock, many of them college educated. Then again, college educated people used to read People magazine, which has been supplanted by things like TMZ.

Well it's been awhile since we've had anything like this. There was Beatlemania, Kiss and Michael Jackson. But that was all pre-internet. So the effects were different. This is like some retarded Beatlemania propped up by social media. At least with the Beatles the music was fresh and revolutionary. I don't know any of Taylor's songs. The few I heard I immediately forgot. Can't even remember her voice. Maybe I just don't get whatever "it" is. But she seems too mid to be this big.

Very likely. I think she's smarter than she looks and goes to real songwriters for whatever vapid pop hit will get the kids screaming for overpriced tickets. I also think she's a major bit behind the scenes. She's gotta be. I'm waiting for some disgruntled ex-employee to spill the beans.

You’re also missing the swifties constant doxing. Ranging from doxing somalian men generating AI Porn of Taylor S
Sounds pretty based to me. If doxing degenerates is a cow trait, then the entire Kiwi Farms userbase consists of lolcows. Honestly, I think people who hate Taylor Swift should be heavily questioned as to their attitudes because she's not hurting anybody and is helping unite people, ultimately. You have no theory of mind if you can't say "I don't like her but I can see why others might". Nobody seethed this hard over the MCU (which has always been low-quality) at its height.

You know I was led to believe that the age of the ultra-celebrity, like Michael Jackson and Elvis was over due to the internet and it's infinite internet subcultures creating many minor celebrities. I now think that's wrong, and Taylor Swift has taken the crown. If MJ or Elvis had the internet, we'd see the same thing.
People admired Elvis, MJ and the Beatles, some wanted to emulate them, some wanted to fuck them, but no sane fan thought they were their actual friend.
I've heard Taylor has so many fanatical fans because they feel she's sharing genuine emotions they've felt. If TS adknowledged a ghostwriter, then it'd wake her fans up from their vicarious relationship with her

Obligatory: Taylor Swift is worst at picking men.
Idiots who look to celebrities for voting advice would be voting democrat anyway.
She's finally old enough to be VP this year, so maybe that's her game. :)
Don't forget that time some people thought Taylor Swift was a 4chan user and some started referring to her as (hopefully jokingly) as an "Aryan goddess". Not sure if those type of "Swfties" are still around.
She probably used /b/ for a while, as she named her cat there, but those Swiftler memes are too ridiculous to take seriously. Basically taking Hitler and Taylor quotes and misattributing them.

The people who believe that Taylor Swift is actually a bunch of pigeons in a coat masquerading as a pop star for the last 15 years in order to get Biden re-elected are the real lolcows.
No, our idol is a flock of doves in a coat, not common ugly pigeons.

I see to much of Taylor Swift and not enough of her annoying fans. Not to mention her detractors or "haters" are also pretty annoying.

You could expand upon the weird magic rituals her fans do before concerts. Or how some think she really is a witch with powers, or is possessed by a demon.
