Chris still thinks he's fighting some battle against the trolls but, what would be to his dismay if he wasn't stupid, the trolls weren't even fighting him at all. There was no end game and no battles. Trolls only wanted to see what he would do or react to. Chris set up the guns, the bombs, and provided the ammunition. Then he fired it all at himself.

Brother, Chris probably wants to face off with the trolls in the squared circle. It would be a survivor style match up. Chris, Sonichu, Ghost of Patty and Ghost of child Chris versus Clyde Cash, The Man in the Pickle Suit, Surfshack Tito and Liquid Chris. It would be Sonichu's Squad versus Tito's Trolls. The Hulkster would offer to be the special guest referee. The Hulkster would also expect a 4-0 victory for the team of the Trolls, man.

I don't know if I'd really blame Chris' intelligence as the primary cause of his trolling. There were times where we did take advantage of his lower-than-average intelligence or his autism, but mostly our plans relied on how we knew everything about him. Every round, we knew his hand and we made extensive use of that information in trolling Chris. There were times where he did his best (and he actually did a good job, to tell the truth) to hide his identity as Chris on some online dating site. We still caught him. Basically, 95% of our techniques could be used against a normal person, is what I'm saying. Although, I think a normal person might come to the conclusion that Chris did (leave the internet) a lot earlier than Chris did.

The only reason we're not fucking with him now is because we stopped trolling him after Bob died.

Did you ever consider Chris is unhappy/depressed because nobody's trolling him? He gets a lot less attention now, and he lurks the boards here daily to read about what we say. He's practically begging for more interaction.

the only interaction he wants is for his duck. which is the narrow-sightedness that put him in this predicament

Nah, Chris is getting as much attention as he got in the past. Chris isn't getting trolling now because he left the internet.

If he was begging for interaction, he would be groveling at our feet for more trolling (that kinky hambeast.) He's not though, so he's not begging for more interaction.

Most of that begging is for a sweetheart with which to share his miserable existence

Nah, Chris is getting as much attention as he got in the past. Chris isn't getting trolling now because he left the internet.

I dunno.... he's made a couple of 'calling out' type posts on his Facebook. Could this be seen as an attempt to goad the trolls into responding?

Other than his Facebook ass-patters, Barb, and a small circle of IRL acquaintences, I can't see Chris actually getting much interaction. He's complained numerous times on his Facebook about how everyone he knows is too busy with their own careers, families, etc. to make time for him. I can't see his private posts, but it appears that even Chris's FB ass-patters have backed off. They're probably getting sick of his constant whining. I expected that at least Anna would rush to his defense when he was being criticized on the Hearts For The Bullied FB thread, but no, nada, complete silence.

He seriously seemed a lot happier when he was interacting with the trolls on a regular basis. Contrast the way he looked then to the way he looks now. Chris craves attention, and the trolls gave it to him (even though it wasn't always the kind of attention he wanted).

I wonder what this language skills are like now given he gets so little face-to-face social interaction these days. His speech was atrocious in his first videos as he had been stewing away in his room for a number of years since graduating high school. I believe Chris got marginally better during his years of regular interaction with trolls but now that's over how much must he talk in a day? Offline he only really has Barb and maybe a cashier for a few brief moments every other day or so.

That's more of a revenge thing. Chris seems to consider it impossible to let something go until he's seen his enemy completely destroyed and his life ruined, no matter who that enemy is. That's why he is full of nothing but hatred and misery these days - none of the enemies he's made over the years have ever been thrown in prison or sentenced to death to make him feel better.

they're actually doing better in their lives than he is...

I'm not sure what you mean. Do you have a specific example?

By attention, I was referring to troll attention. The amount of messages and pestering he gets from trolls has been pretty constant. Occasionally in the few days around some big event, like in the midst of the liquid saga, troll attention might spike, but generally it was constant. As long as something is changing involving Chris, his facebook or the cwcki or something, someone out there gets a wild hair and decides they want to message Chris.

The private posts are still being mirrored

Anna doesn't know about the Hearts for the bullied thing, or if someone told her, she didn't look at it. Hell, whoever told Chris didn't get him to look at it, or if he did look at it, he didn't think too much about it. He just went back to whatever he was doing.

Chris was happier back during the trolling because it coincided with a time in his life that was a lot less shitty. The troll girlfriends did seem like people to him for awhile, so that kinda boosted his mood a little, but I don't think it's as important as you theorize. I think his happiness back then was 60/40, just coincidentally his life was nicer / troll interactions.

But the theory that Chris is behaving the way because he wants to interact with trolls... it really doesn't work. And the reason it doesn't work is that trolls aren't people to Chris. Like, they're just not feasible as potential friends in his life. (Heh, although, y'know, you could probably argue how how no one is a person to Chris. All the people he interacts just fill various slots in his life, like they're minimum wage employees in the cwc-iverse.)

Maybe 'calling out' wasn't the most accurate description. One of them was a note:

I have continued reading your posts and alerting the authorities of your actions. NOBODY came to my house at all, you lying, cheating bastards. Frankly, I grow tired of continuing to read your shit lies, including the biggest hoax of yours, the Poster Campaign. Nobody put up any damn posters or handed out frigging flyers at all. I have been reading your posts personally through "trombonista's" account; there was NO MOLE.

Sincerely,

Then there was this one:

Hey! Trolling stupids! I might be lonely but I would never ever be friends or even associate with your kind who has been abusing me and making me feel worse about life and people and everything for the past greater than five years!!!

There were a couple of others, but in these two at least, he seems to be addressing the trolls (if not exactly calling them out).

You raise some good points there. I'm going to have give this some more thought before giving you a reply. As always, I appreciate your insights.

Ah. This one was very typical Chris behavior. This was around when we were faking the poster campaign. The thing is, and I don't know if the public necessarily realized the full extent of it, but Chris was really freaked out about that poster campaign. He really believed it and was flipping out about all the posters and stuff. Heh, remember "Oh crap, they might have hired a skywriter." (or however he phrased it)

Once he finally realized that it was all fake he was so very relieved. He was taunting the trolls that he realized that their pictures were fake. Although, he didn't realize how much of a dipshit he looked like for falling for it in the first place.

I'll admit this one was pretty strangely phrased. However, I still don't think that Chris would address the trolls for no reason. Something had to prompt Chris, even if whatever it was only makes sense in Chris-logic. I don't know what the cause was though, I don't remember the context to this one.

This seems as good a place as any to state for the record my incredible distaste for the phrase "trolling stupid" or "trolling stupids."

Even Chris isn't so stupid that he's never, to my knowledge, referred to someone as "a stupid," without the "trolling" qualifier, yet he uses that phrase all the goddamn time.

Chris used the term "trollin' stupid" before, but as an adjective.
