Noralities/edsartfactory is a(n alleged) shotacon enjoyer and (allegedly an) art school graduate who, in-between blogging about her perceived victimhood on her tumblr, likes to make feature length OVAs about why anime upsets her personally. Note that everything stated in this post is an opinion and not a statement of fact.
Let me preface this by saying that while many of you Asperger’s fueled cunnylickers likely want me to tear into Nora for her views on lolicon, and certainly I could fill several pages on how her views are about as coherent as the core rulebook for RIFTS (if you know, you know), I want you to let me come at her from a different angle. For, while we can argue in circles over Comiket and its consequences, Noralities as a person is far more interesting; if nothing else, doing so will allow me to break up the monotony of endlessly malding over normalfags not validating my fetishes.

To be polite, she’s what a Boomer friend of mine would call ‘terminally Millenial.’ To be
frank, she’s fucking crazy and her video on Isekai reveals why in so many ways that it’s actually unnerving. You most likely have noticed this, but many of her like-minded tumblrite fans likely are too young, naive, and impressionable to be able to pick up on the psycho bitch vibes. Take my hand and let’s ease ourselves into this nice, warm acid bath and start with the most superficial of observations. The way she presents her videos.
Visually, her rantsona looks like Dimitri Monroe got shoved into a woke artschool blender. A bad facsimile of a shoujo artstyle that westerners often fall into when they try to make ‘anime’ art but can’t bring themselves to embrace the kind of abstraction that the funny little yellow people utilize. Her avatar does these… jazz hands when she’s trying to be joking or snarky that, combined with the ever present pained facial expression, feeds into a visage of vulnerability that she leans into throughout the video; something that is accented by the constant shifts between wistful gazes off to the side and upturned puppydog eyes. At the very least the paper mill her parents sent her to, in the vein hopes that the Plan B supply wouldn’t survive a budding career as an art hoe, taught her how to manipulate people. Aesthetically she has the ‘lesbian presenting depressed e-boy’ look down to a t.
Fortunately we no longer need eyes where we’re going so instead I’ll direct the abuse to your ear canals. I won’t mince words: she’s quite literally the most irritating person I’ve had the displeasure of listening to. Everything,
everything she says comes coated in a grimy layer of saccharine sweetness. When she’s aggressive, she mixes in poisonous clicks of the tongue and fake, breathy sighs of exasperation; when feigning passive helplessness her voice falls monotone and somber, at times she sounds at though she’s on the verge of actual tears. All of this is amplified by a sound set up perfectly designed to record ASMR.

I don’t know why she sits so close to the mic, maybe it’s to appeal to the young weeb boys she may or may not want to fuck, maybe it’s because her father occasionally beats her and she doesn’t want to risk waking him; either way it adds to the doe-like helplessness that she uses to make her points seem substantial rather than deeply petty.
Speaking of, her actual argumentation is very plainly on its face shit. For the sake of brevity I will not go into things point by point (though I might do that in the future), so instead I’ll draw your attention to what metrics she uses to prove that ‘anime for girls isn’t made anymore:’
the Crunchyroll streaming catalog and MyAnimeList tags. Neither of which are authoritative and neither of which show a complete picture of what is happening. Now, if she did any basic research into the
reading habits of teenage girls in Japan, she’d notice that the normal demographic for girls has been shifted towards shounen manga for quite some time. They are making anime and manga for girls, but girls are likely reading and watching things like Fire Force or Dr. Stone once they grow out of Precure or Pripara.
But actually exploring and discussing the topic isn’t what she’s interested in, is it? Who cares about the actual interests of teenage girls and the nuances of marketing demographics, Sword Art Online stole Isekai from Noralities! Other people around her aren’t talking about her interests! Why don’t they ever think about her?!

This circles us back to the video and how her opinions on Re;Zero, in particular on the character of Subaru, speaks volumes about her emotional maturity. You may not like Subaru, as a proud american I hate anything that sounds like a rice burner driven by Bay Area Asian drift kings, and that isn’t necessarily an unwarranted opinion to have. But in the video above, about halfway through her seething at the series, she claims to understand that our protagonist has PTSD and understands that he has died multiple times for people who can never acknowledge his suffering; that, in his curse enforced silence, he can’t directly tell people what’s wrong. This situation leads to him lashing out at the ones closest to him verbally, driving a wedge between him and those whom he’s fighting to save. Subaru’s anguish is an all-to-human reaction to the otherworldly situation he finds himself in. But by the same token, Emilia and Rem both have the right to be taken aback when they’re held up to a version of themselves that now only exists in Subaru’s memories. A normal person with a sense of empathy and a basic moral compass would see, from an outsider perspective, the inherent tragedy in the situation. But Nora though? She’s just upset that he yelled at women, context and pathos be damned, it’s clearly unreasonable for the person who has suffered severe psychological trauma to ever, EVER yell at the women closet to him! Dear God never let this person work at a VA hospital.
And people say Kohlberg was wrong for saying that women get stuck at stage 3 of Moral Development.
