The "fine" lads over on reddit's AgainstHateSubreddits seem proud of their curation of a CP collection suitable for anonymously spamming on subreddits they're targeting for purging (they report the subs to the admins for CP after they've done it).
Fun fact, they got up in arms and crusaded against this sub about rape porn called "strugglefucking", and despite one of my friends saying "it was shitty acting most of the time tho lol" got it banned.

Have Reddit mods ever done anything useful, ever? I see people praising them for "having to put up with all the bigoted manbabies and dudebros" but from my experience, Reddit mods do nothing but hut down threads at the first sign of trouble because they can't be bothered to moderate comments manually.
To my recollection, no. As far back as the time when young teen subreddits were legal and largely run by the somewhat infamous violentacrez. It took a combination of something awful calling them out as well as a segment by anderson cooper (I think it was him I may be wrong) before they finally did something. And even then there were leaked chatlogs of other discord mods trying to console violentacrez and expressing sympathy and remorse as well as dragging their feet. And all that did was ultimately push that shit under the radar, I'm pretty sure the dude never got any sort of backlash either on reddit or even legally. But again I could be wrong on that so correct me if I am.
There’s this thing some people do (I’m sure you’ve all met one) where they don’t actually seem to understand the concept behind certain accusations, they just know that “this is a bad thing, and accusing my opponent of it means I win the argument”. The kind of person who learns the term “gaslighting” and then starts throwing it around every time someone disagrees with them, or calls everyone they don't like a "narcissist".
The way I see it a lot of them just want the dopamine rush from accusing someone they think is a pedophile but don't want to actually put in any effort to get them arrested, possibly because something in the back of their mind is telling them that they're not really righteous, but that sweet, sweet dopamine rush is too much to resist for some of them.
You forgot the flipside of the coin. The guys who see a character who has tits smaller than C-cup and immediately start screaming about pedophilia regardless of the character's age, mental age, or maturity. I'll be the first to say that 800-year old lolis are fucking dumb, but these people seem to think they're a criminal offense.
I distinctly remember a few years ago a few people on Twitter tried to claim that the Sorceress from Dragon's Crown was designed to appeal to pedophiles. Despite the fact that the character in question looks like a middle-aged woman with absurdly large breasts. If I could find those tweets, I'd post them.
I don't understand the argument there either. I think it's two degrees of pedophilia? She's a very motherly character, that reminds them of children, and that would be attractive to pedos. It was bizarre.
