Either way, it's completely fucking false. At no point in the series is rape treated as something "enjoyable." In fact, the whole point of the series is to depict rape as a horrifying act, so terrible that a man whose sister was taken away from him at an early age from it that he decided to eradicate the people responsible. There's even a major side character whose entire arc revolves around the long-term psychological effects of rape, as to translate the series' terminologies, she's effectively a level 99 adventurer who has beaten the final boss... and she's terrified by level 2 mobs because they raped her a long time ago. So in short, this guy is completely talking out of his ass.

A retailer has reported that a variety of figures of anime girls were removed from his Amazon hosted storefront, with communications from the company stating they were removed for promoting child exploitation.

On February 29th, after a Twitter user posed the question “Who did this?” in response to recent fan reports to SEGA which led to the removal of the ability to see Hatsune Miku’s panties in Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix Switch (which was not a case of censorship but rather fixing an error, as her panties are not viewable in other games), owner of Chuck’s Anime store Chuck Gaffney speculated that it “might be the same asshats I’ve been noticing on Amazon.”

According to Gaffney, rather than removing the items from his inventory, Amazon pressured him “to manually delete them or delete my account.”

Gaffney then provided e-mails sent to him from Amazon which showed that they had removed multiple figures, all completely non-sexual, for violating their ban on items that “promote child exploitation or depict children or characters resembling children in a sexually suggestive manner.”

Speculating on Twitter, Gaffney believes the figures may have been the target of “some neopuritan crusade or purposefully done biz sabotage.”
As of writing, Amazon has not reversed their decisions regarding these figures.

Love how these people never actually watched 80/90s anime. Let's take random ass trashy OVA I watched yesterday (Warriors Ramune Fresh whatever). We have space hitler torturing women and children. All of the girls walk around naked for half the show for no reason whatsoever. The heroines are holy virgins who pray with orgasming. So it looks like I'm going to have to play Devil's Advocate for this one. It's called 'Projection'. This is what people with fragile egos do in order to make it seem that they have the moral high ground. You see this behavior a lot in extremist religious leaders, political extremists, and other individuals and groups that hold extremist views that try to 'unperson' the other side.

For example, one type of person that is a classic example of 'Projection' is the extremist gay bashing Christian preacher. Now if you know anything about the religious fundamentalist types; one of the things that they do a lot in order to justify them being a jackass is telling their followers how people such as homosexuals are the 'scum of society', that there needs to be government mandatory programs in order to force gay people to become heterosexual, and that they must be stripped of their rights and privileges if they don't become heterosexual then. Most of these types of religious leaders that preach this type of shit usually end up getting exposed with having a gay lover (and sometimes with much worse) in the end.

So yes, these people that are going up in arms over this non-issue I'm sure have plenty of skeletons in their closets too, I can guarantee this.

It's this type of crap that I'm getting sick and tired of because it's going to be really difficult for me and for just about any rational human being to take this shit seriously if they're going to attack fiction rather than going after the actual problem.

Most of the time...no. They go after innocent people and make them bend to their will via targeted harassment.
