It doesn't help that heaps of people (presumably those who have never drawn) seem to believe artists NEED living models/references to draw anything, even highly exaggerated characters, and thus that every loli character has a harmed child behind it
I wouldn't doubt that it's happened once or twice a la shadman, but outside of that it's the typical histrionics.

A lot of my artist friends insist on using references, and they're good artists drawing characters they're familiar with. And I get it, to an extent, but I think it's due to problems visualizing, or a need for perfection. Maybe it's the internet beating into artists that we need to have perfect proportions, and draw realistically, I don't know.

Although, I may not like lolisho myself but I gotta admit some ppl on the anti side really do be lacking self awareness. I have mentioned it in this thread and this other thread some details about this person and server particularly. Yeah, for an official popular flash game server (also ongoing). Anyways since a new game is coming out next month (pardon me, I'm sorry for being a little late.) here's all the red flags:
-a tranny (a pooner, the fujoshi kind)
-hates lolisho
-makes sex jokes and references with and around minors (like one time they even mentioned in the server how they downloaded Wicked Whims in the server, even in front of their minor "friend")
-too friendly with that one minor in particular (they're even friends with them)
Like I have mentioned in that other thread, she has contact with the official game dev, does this sound like someone like that can be trusted to be in contact with someone else with higher power like that?
I forgot to mention that the mods are far from being innocent themselves. Some examples.
Eniqui (also goes by that on most social media) here thinks its okay for adults to act weird around minors and the same time she condemns lolisho. The person is right in DMs, adults making sexual jokes and references with minors is still wrong.
NC who goes noncharacter08 on most social media, also condemns lolisho and aging up fanart. Plus she does a "no minors" policy on her bios on her social medias, but in the server she forgets that it isn't an 18+ space which means there are minors present there. You'd think someone with 18+ in their bio would know better than this.
The drawing itself without the dialogue may not be NSFWish/suggestive but the dialogue she added here made it seem like it. She as a mod didn't even follow the server's own rules and sadly, she didn't even get in trouble for doing that. Shows how incompetent the mods truly are. I wish I had some screenshots of this, (the comments may have gotten deleted before I could screenshot them while I was in that server)
And there's another guy who is usually active in the server, he goes by midnight_hunter02 on most social media. He is your typical creepy male feminist/shitlib. He always breaks the no politics by spouting his political rants, usually liberal views. After he got called a creep and a potential groomer, he deflected by saying "Republicans are the real groomers" and brought up Cuties (I'm not defending that stuff btw). He was just trying to defend weird and creepy behavior by deflecting and saying "Well look at this other thing that's even worse! That makes this first thing all okay now!". He wasn't even really trying to argue the point, he was just deflecting and making a lame excuse. And bringing up politics to defend bad behavior? Oh yeah, definitely deflecting. It's like he's trying to say "Well look, I might be a creep, but at least I'm not like them! They're even worse!" He's not even really arguing an actual point, he's just deflecting and making excuses to try and paint himself as the better person when he really isn't. It's like he's trying to find any excuse to avoid acknowledging the truth about his behavior and to make himself look like the victim instead. Classic deflecting.
One last thing. The server constantly makes fun of people being horny for the character Shorty, and tells them to keep it in their pants while being horny for the male characters and display the same behavior that they make fun of Shorty fans for.
Looks like I won't be giving Chriss Martin anymore of my money, won't touch the new game coming out.

Late reply, I know, but the timing of MeatCanyon's video was directly after Vaush was exposed for having loli hentai and horse bestiality on his computer.
