Or own Learless Feeder Null appeared on today's recording of The Dick Show and streamed his side of it. Here's the video timestamped to when he joins the recording, which is livestreamed to Dick's patrons. Null kinda broadsided Dick by airing various beefs with him and his crew, in particular Digibro, an anime YouTuber and recently-announced low-effort transwoman who has in the past spoken of xirs fondness for lolicon. Null takes the side that people who partake in lolicon are unambiguous pedophiles, whereas Dick takes the "but it's not real" side. Null does get in a meek "but I don't think it should be illegal" in there at one point but is otherwise pretty unyielding in his stance and advocates for the death of pedophiles (which, again, would include lolicon fans in his mind) more than once. Even more puzzling than the loli-related stuff, though, is when Josh says at one point that men who enjoy lesbian porn are transexuals… The whole conversation goes on for a bit under half an hour and gets a bit tough to listen to at times. I think Josh is wrong on most of his takes but I can see where he's coming from at least.

Ngl surprised that this thread is able to stay. Its understandable in a sense, even if you think its one to one there's such impracticality on the legal side that it would be a complete shitshow.

Though imo, there is a giant seperation of the two.

You can draw a dying dog as realistically as you want, it'll never come close to the actual thing, and drawing a dying dog doesn't make you an animal abuser. It makes you edgy, but most would never be able to murder a real dog.

That said, the handwringing in the callout post is not much better. For one, "I'm cropping out the bottom because they put her literally in short shorts" made me raise an eyebrow. I don't know where this person is from, but I'm going to bet the mother has plenty of photos of her daughter in short shorts, onesies or even diapers in her facebook/instagram/twitter and no one is saying a thing. Sure, they're probably not all orange and definitely not all paired with a Hooters' t-shirt, but I wouldn't call a tasteless outfit that covers everything and a candid non-sexualized shot "pedophilia". Child exploitation? Let's call that a "maybe".

People keep posting videos of outraged moms dumping those dolls into bowls of ice water and things appearing on their body. Some of the patterns are just tattoos of pizza or devil tails/wings but I guess some of them are underwear?

The dolls are ugly in general. Reminds me of Bratz babies or whatever back in the day. Im not the audience for dolls, but how big of a scandal is it for (already naked) dolls to gain underwear when put in cold water? It’s odd I guess. Well since Australia is seeing a second wave of the coronavirus, I'm actually hoping that it destroys what remains of their economy hard then.

If this is what Australian politicians consider a major issues then really they deserve their country going down anyway.

Well that's because Dick Masterson isn't really a lolcow. He's been pretty calm even after Maddox threw him under the bus and tries to stay rational even in discussing controversial topics anyway.

Also, at this point I fear that Null may go full on Lowtax anyway. Null has already shown his disdain for politics and even threaten to shut down parts of this website a while ago. Maybe he's finally calmed down a bit (which I hope he has) but I hope Null doesn't go down that path later on.

Yeah, I saw that being mentioned in other threads and even saw the trailer, which is on YouTube if you want to see it - I won't link. Maybe it's secretly a deep commentary on Western society sometimes driving children to be sexualized - and want to sexualize themselves - way too early, but just from the trailer it looks more like a standard underdog story but with tween girls in booty shorts instead of a junior league hockey team or whatever. What the hell everyone involved at all stages of financing, writing, filming, screening, and creating a trailer from this movie were thinking is anyone's guess. We can take some solace in the fact that the trailer on YouTube had a massive downvote ratio and nothing but hatred in the comments.

i saw discussion of this on reddit, apparently it is about how sexualizing minors is bad. from what i read it seems the american marketing isn't representative (it's a french film). this is based on what other people say, so grain of salt, but trailers are mostly shit anyway so they deserve a grain too. best way to know for sure is to watch the movie itself.
