10 years ago, a wonderful artist named Mark Gormley appeared on 4chan, and became well known for his powerful stance and intense melodies. His videos appeared on a Youtube channel called The Uncharted Zone.
The Uncharted Zone is run by Phil Thomas Katt, from Pensacola. Although, somehow, Mark Gormley is still alive and making videos (and looking quite sick tbh), the traffic to this channel has dried up. Yet, the videos still keep coming. The wide array of content here is just amazing.
"Little Wings can you make the flight? The rain is getting heavy from the storm tonight."
I unironically like Mark Gormley. It makes me sad to see him in poor health today, but I am happy that he is still able to write and perform his music. He is too pure for this world.
It's been mentioned in the RIP thread, but for anyone who missed it, I regret to inform you that Mark Gormley died on the 24th of May.
Phil Thomas Katt put out a compilation video:
I admit that I was somewhat annoyed that Weird Al's impression characterized him as singing out of tune, which he didn't do - the funny part of Without You was the contrast between his appearance and his singing voice, the wacky video etc.
