The underclass is the class below the working class. Who's part of it? Street people, thugs, thieves, lazy welfare leeches, gypsies, lolcows, Antifa etc etc

They do not contribute, they do not work, nor do they pay taxes.

What ultimately can be done about these people? The meme answer of kill them all isn't an answer at all realistically.

Do they deserve help?

Do they deserve the same rights as us?

What purpose do they serve?

I mean, you can't kill them.

get the working and upper class to blame them for all of society's ills and keep them in their place, ensuring that you'll have a reliable base of voters who will keep you in office for the gibs
so no, don't help them, but be a democrat pretend to

The underclass serves a purpose. They are the group that serves as the recruiting ground for 90+% of our military, and if the US entered into a real war it could easily shut down a lot of welfare benefits leading to literally millions of hungry poors enlisting to feed their families. The underclass is more useful to the hyper-elites who run the country than the middle class or working class are.

I think that any society will have parasites, no matter what measures you take to eliminate them. It's just a consequence of having a community larger than a village where everyone can look and see that one person isn't contributing anything and remove them.

I don't know shit about shit but I would say the only thing you can do, besides cracking down on the actual violent criminals like Antifa and thugs, would be to tighten up the requirements for financial aid for parasites. That would be quite a task on its own, but if you look hard enough you can generally determine if a person is trying to be useful or just being a leech.

That again brings its own troubles, but again, I'll openly admit to being an uneducated moron.

The so-called 'poverty industry' exists to serve and profit off these people. There are the check cashing places, the bulletproof liquor stores, the bodegas and the Montel Williams payday loan shylocks. There's JG Wentworth, fleecing people for their court settlements. There are reverse mortgages, cashing out home equity in expectation of death. There are (arguably) television shows like Steve Wilkos that only air when normies are at work and seem targeted at a less than sterling demographic.

All these things are a part of the poverty industry. Its aim is to monetize the part of society without the credit scores or financial backing to participate in the larger economy like you or I. It's predatory AF and highly profitable. It exists on many levels - a bodega clerk selling 50 cent 'loosey' cigarettes is himself participating in the poverty industry. Just like rent-a-center, the bodega clerk sells 50c cigs under the presupposition that his target demographic is too poor to buy a whole pack. The hook is that over time, they'll buy many packs - they'll do so in 50 cent installments and end up paying far more for a pack of smokes than they if they'd simply bought a damn box.

Edit to add - the underclass is a vital part of the economy. You don't kill them or put them in camps, you turn a profit off them. Somebody's gonna.

Place them in the middle of the Arizona desert. Give them just enough supplies to reach a checkpoint. Ad nauseum, until they get to a home. Once in the home, they are given a specific set of instructions, as to how to easily maintain their home. They are also given a simple clerk or register job. If they fuck that up within a month, dump the lifeless body into the ocean.

They deserve the American Dream too, right?
Nobody deserves anything at all beyond their basic rights. The American Dream isn't some constitutional guarantee, just a flowery phrase to make people feel good.

As for the underclass, I'd say recriminalize homelessness and give people the choice to either spend a year or so on probation working for a private industry or bring back chain gangs and scare them straight if they refuse. This of course would leave out the very few of them who are legitimately mentally ill or physically disabled.

Welfare leeches: same deal.

The rest of your list is just criminals: we should throw their asses in prison and make sure they're either treated for any mental health problems that are contributing to their criminality or, if they're mentally sound, force them to learn a trade.

The asylum system needs to come back. A lot of the mentally ill people who are chronically homeless will always stop taking their meds and really need to be put somewhere safe but those progressives say no sir leave them to die in the cold! Let them shit on your streets!
