So yeah. My boss sends me out on a forced vacation because he doesn't have enough hours to give us.

So from Sunday until Thursday I will be off. It's kinda hard to think up of a place I would like to visit considering that I just got back from a mini-vacationof sorts when I went to what was supposed to be Nick's arraignment hearing.

Anyway I would like to go to the beach and visit DC or Baltimore.

So does anybody have any favorite (and if it's afford even better) beaches to go to in the mid-Atlantic?

Also since it says "Vacation Thread" feel free to talk about any places you've been or would like to go to. I got one would one day like to visit the Canadian side of the Niagra but I haven't got my passport yet.
 
I've never been to any beaches, per se, but I do go to DC quite frequently. It's one of my favorite cities. I've also been to Boston and Chicago.

My next "vacation" will be almost a month long trip to visit my parents and my best friend. I am excite, because I haven't seen my parents in over a year, and it's been over two years since I've seen my bestie.

Definitely go to DC! It's such a beautiful city, it's super easy to have a great time on a budget (most museums are free, with the exception of one or two), and (imo) it doesn't get as warm as people expect in summer.
 
August is gonna be a doozy for me. After I finish my term I'm going for a week in Hawaii (more specifically kauai), then I got a trip to yellowstone for another week. All of that wrapped up by probably a camping trip in Cultus Lake.
 
I'm planning on going to Kings Island next week and then maybe going camping in August.

I went to Cedar Point three times this season so far, including an overnight trip last month.

Maybe next year when I save up some money I can go on a nice trip out of state.
 
Used to go to Wildwood Crest every year when my cousins and I were little. My grandfather on my mom's side had a friend who converted his garage into a sort of motel, and he let us stay there for free. Good times.

Not going anywhere this year because we're getting a pool put in.

On most vacations, I go down to Hilton Head Island to see my grandparents. Usually, I end up going jet skiing, which is a blast and switching between going to a pool or beach. Not sure I'm heading down this year, but whatever. There be other times.
