I posted something like this on the old board but figured I do it again.

If you read all of his messages to her, he comes across as pretty nerdy, but generally within a normal range. Then, after the trolls found her, he descends into the paranoia and denial we see today. Even his spelling and random capitalization are absent in in the earlier messages, but not the one when the trolls find her. I wonder if he was coached or finally figured out how to talk to a girl, at least initially. Of course that all falls apart once the trolls find her and we have such gems as "he'll have to pay $100 to get a hooker if you leave him", which absolutely killed me.

And it's pretty obvious she's not interested. She dodges his date attempts like a politician. We all know that "friend" to Chris means "gal-pal who just hasn't come around yet".

Somebody mentioned her reaction as well and how it was pretty rabid right away after the trolls got to her. The whole thing fascinates me as after the tipping point we see nutty Chris come out when before he was behaving as normal as he could be.

I like those emails too. They're very insightful. If Chris had let his desperation aside she could've been a friend, pretty much the same scenario that happened with Megan. He seemed to comit the same mistakes than with Megan, always trying to push for something more than friendship, even when he was told off.

At least when all hell broke loose, the Wallflower had the balls to tell him to fuck off.

I think the difference you see is down to Chris' almost knee jerk reactions to trolls. Probably his single biggest problem spanning the entire trolling thing was that he never, ever sat down to think, he'd just let himself off the chain in a blind tard rage. He could have come through so many situations a lot better if he just took a much calmer and more considered approach, or even (shock) just ignored people.

And as for the Wallflower friendship thing, yeah this is classic Chris. He just cannot fathom not getting his way ever, people exist solely to bend to his will in his eyes.

I think it was either Marvin or Alec who said... "the wallflower situation is a great example of when everybody else stands back and Chris..... just be's Chris!"

i've always loved the wallflower saga. it's a great example of how he could've had a friend, but seemingly instantly ruined it immediately. i mean there are little hints here and there that it was falling apart at the seams (she seemed to avoid hanging out with him at times)
but once the trolls become known, he goes completely nutters.
the begging in the video is just the icing, especially using the threat of getting a prostitute if their friendship falls apart.

I love the Wallflower Saga because it brought us the phrase "got-dang asexual woman."

And this picture.

Both of us, actually. Chris is his own worst troll.

The Wallflower debacle shows that Chris isn't capable of having a relationship with anyone. His ego makes him believe that it's all about him, without any benefits and favors to the other party.

If memory serves, it was weird as shit.

Heh, well, his behavior got a lot crazier after things were already too late for him.

Supposedly, apart from the owl stuff, she wrote male pregnancy fanfic about Ghost Hunters. Alas, she cut all that stuff down from the internet in a way that would make Bob proud, before I ever heard of CWC.

Wait, the SyFy show?

Yeah, the one where they go around to places and yell at ghosts.

Fixed.

Ghost Hunters? All this time I thought it was Ghostbusters.

Huh! Does anyone know if she has any learning disabilities or just kind of strange?

You would have to have some type of disability to tolerate Chris' advances.

That is the hippocratic stupidity that keeps Chris so lonely. The only female who would like Chris is maybe a female version of himself (minus the Tomgirl crap), but he's so full of himself that he thinks he deserves some rich, sugarmama supermodel genius! Which is the exact opposite of Chris. it boggles the mind.

Yeah, but he folds extremely quickly. It's not his taste that's keeping him from finding his heartsweet, it's a few things, including him being too much of a pussy to approach women in public, his awful smell and his inability to keep his hands to himself.

How come he simultaneously holds the beliefs that all women are so nice etc., and that it scary to approach women? If they are so nice, why be afraid of them?

I just think it's so funny that even though he's the most repugnant being on the planet, he still has such high standards!

Well, some women are trolls, but either way, he lacks assertiveness. It's what inspired the attraction sign.
