Why is 11 so goddamn bad. (Rhetorical question)
I have random crashes constantly. Shit will just break.
The other day I was in the middle of working on some stuff, and my keyboard just stopped fucking working. WHAT. Like, I'll be trying to upload a file somewhere, and the file explorer won't work until I reboot the machine. (Can't search for a file by name, or by extension, any of it). Just completely bizarre issues all over this AIDS-riddled OS.

It constantly wants to save to OneDrive. I don't have a OneDrive account. I have gone in MULTIPLE TIMES to fix its default paths, only to find it gets reverted every time my machine receives an update. I have given up. Fuck it.

I still have 10 on my other machine (which is almost 15 years old now, so obviously I can't upgrade to 11 lmao) and I'm thinking of just installing something like Mint onto that one instead of dealing with whatever shit Microsoft is gonna try to do to ~encourage~ me to upgrade my shit. I don't need a bunch of stuff running on my desktop.

If that was a Windows issue, everyone would have it—but it's only you.
 
All right, I "upgraded" my Win 10 Home to IoT Enterprise LTSC no problem. Six more years of updates and I don't have to upgrade to Win 11.

However, I want to do the same with my dad's PC and his system locale isn't English. Massgrave only has LTSC versions (not IoT!) of non-English ISOs. Support for regular LTSC ends in January 2027, so I think it's not worth the hassle. Is there anything I can do about that?

If you really want, you can use 11 LTSC and that has no TPM bullshit or you can use Rufus to disable TPM on the iso file.

10 LTSC or Mint is objectively best though, 11 LTSC has gotten better but it still has bugs

11 LTSC is fixing bugs but normal Win 11 is getting worse
 
Is LTSC worth a shot?
I’ve been using windows my entire life, I started on windows 7, moved to 10 and later tried 11. I also tried Linux (Mint) but I’ve had a lot of driver errors with nvidia and my microphone.
I know it’s not hard to get or activate with massgrave, but is it still jeetcoded like regular 11 (I haven’t used my regular W11 install in 5 months)?
Also I would have to use 11 LTSC because I have a 13th gen intel cpu.

It's more stable, less bloated, and less annoying than the normal 11, but it's still the same jeetified codebase, so certain errors will appear there as well.
 
I hope an AI agent accidentally destroys every operating system repository and we all just return to 1977 technology.
 
tried to make changes to how windows snap, i'd click one button and it would change but then Settings would freeze and crash. so i had to repeat this 4+ times to change all the settings i wanted. beyond parody.

The other day, my Win 11 computer at the dayjob wouldn't let me open Outlook. TL; DR - There was some sort of bug involving Outlook and the add-on for Teams which required Outlook to be started in safe mode so the Teams add-on could be disabled.

As bad as Win 10 may be, Win 11 has been much worse so far from my limited experience with it.

I want every moment of computing life to be those 1970s shots in tv and movies where someone is hunched over a CRT screen with only green text typing a blazing 5 words per minute as the tension builds of up about this newfangled computer technology unfolds the story. However after about 4 minutes and 18 seconds of screen time the end result of the scene is someone sending a racist cat meme in only green colored graphics to their friends online with a blazing 4 bits per second.
