After watching the Huston game I can say for sure, I like the XFL a lot.
It's going to take a few games for the teams to get their shit together and really play well but I think when they get their shit together this will be way more fun to watch than the NFL. The ref management alone was fucking great and I love the new extra point system, I think it makes games way more interesting. It feels like they're doing everything right minus maybe having to many mid game interviews, but even then I kind of enjoy the show boating and stuff like all the players from the roughnecks posing on the side lines mid game, I think it could lead to some fun to watch rivalry that doesn't end in roided up players whacking the other team with their helmets.
Also big props to the XFL for basically paying homage/flat out ripping the Oilers, I love that logo and uniform and hope the QB they got keeps showing the promise he did last night. Lets hope for a good season and maybe some more teams in some less loved places next year, I think Ohio, SC, and like New Mexico could use a real Football team, hell give Alabama something even. That's probably the big thing for me I think the XFL really needs to build off of areas that don't really have a dedicated NFL team next to build some new fanbases or they could spitefully build where teams have moved from too.
