The Youtube Anti-Ad Blocker Campaign and how to survive without Youtube - All Jewtoob hate goes here

True. I have not browsed those long ass videos where content creators talk 2 hours about some pointless subject so I'm not as hooked as Google makes me look to be but because it's the only service where you can share videos for a worldwide audience, I feel forced into using YouTube anyway even though the content is trash.

Come on, it's only a brief video!

I think I've broken the algorithm or something because my recommendations are full of random videos with <100 views. At first I thought it was the classic "haha youtube recommends random cat video from 12 year ago", but now it's mostly random irl videos with less than 10 views released a few days ago or depressingly low view count podcasts.

As for the anti ad block measures, I've never been hit with them. I use the brave browser on mobile and brave + ublock on desktop. Brave + unblock catches almost everything. When I watched Twitch regularly I would rarely see ads despite their attempts to circumvent ad block.

I use watch with mpv browser extention that sends it to mpv and that has sponsorblock installed and sends back my watched status back to jewtube.

FreeTuber here. The only thing missing is a blocktube feature, but I can effectively disable most of the shit-bloat that's in my results by disabling half the UI. Thankfully I never got the warning from YouTube, but I'd like to make my use of the (main?) browser very scarce these days.

In Freetube you can go into "settings" then "distraction free settings" and you can type in channels you want to hide videos from.
