They don't have the monopoly on the Celts. There were Celtic tribes in England, France, Germany, Switzerland and a few other European countries too. The Celtic queen of the Iceni tribe Boudicca (or Boadicea, as she was called by the Romans) who fought the Romans and nearly won was from East Anglia, in England.Good. That's indeed something ti be proud of. And on top of that you habe a rich celtic history, folklore and mythology. Be proud of it and cherish it.
Something the Scots, Welsh and Irish all have in common is that they've seldom defeated the English in sport or battle.
