This seems to be one of those things where on the first day everyone is using it and having a blast for lulz (I've seen some verified accounts and known political commentators using it) but by the second day they become aware there are some really loud spergs, MRA neckbeards and tumblrinas taking it seriously so they all stop and the hashtag and block it from their memory. It then gets absorbed into the sperg-collective and you'll probably see people like Homer and Brianna Wu still using it four or five months from now.

The Triggering is a twitter hashtag event started by political commentator Lauren Southern, the gist of it is to challenge political correctness by posting provocative messages that are deemed as triggers by the Feminist and Social Justice Crowd
