Or in Australia's case, your largest trading partner having significant economic leverage over you. There was some article critical of china where the writer said "sold up the yellow river" or something to that effect. Tons of blue checkmarks started accusing the writer of racism. I still wonder how many of them knew that the yellow river is basically the origin of chinese culture.
