Why do all the blue checkmarks think they know everything there is to know about global warming and climate change?

In fact, why do all the blue checkmarks call out rich assholes on Twitter while claiming they're different even though they're rich too?

Like where he insisted Chloe Bourgeois was always meant to be an "irredeemable" character and any hints she might have a change of heart from her mean girl ways was just him and the writers going "LOL we'll fool these kids good! Muh SUbvERTinG exPEctAtIonS!"
 
So the politics in his show he's trying to push is how rich people are bad, basically. You know, I still respect him for being openly islamophobic.
No offense, but that tumblr account sounds pretty immature themselves. Sure, let's call Astruc out for things he actually said, but what is the point of complaining about lgbt representation and calling an actual lgbt person the character is designed after "stereotypical" for their American tastes?

Apparently, Miraculous is bad at representing the gayz because girls don't kiss onscreen like in Shit-ra, but censorship laws are very real outside America, that has nothing to do with Astruc.

Either way, this man's involved in another controversy related to his show.

For context, the latest episode had a character explain different time zones, and the visuals to represent different countries included the rising sun flag Japan used during World War II, and several Korean fans took offense to the use of it in the show, even if it was a minor detail.

Whether or not you actually agree with the backlash (the use of the rising sun flag has become a very heated subject for debate recently), the point is that Thomas here refused to acknowledge it. Well, he kind of did... by making a Twitter thread about how unfairly he gets treated, and basically admitted he only wants positive feedback from people and will block anyone who dares to oppose him.

This even included an old friend of his who was actually the inspiration for a character (the one that Tumblr blog called stereotypical).

Sad. I watched some amount of the first season a while back and thought it was pretty neat. Don't know if I want to pick it back up anymore after seeing all this.

Same shit on repeat.

Season 5 was leaked in its entirety, unfinished animations, cut lines and other stuff.

Chloe´s dad was gonna divorce Audrey, keep Zoe and disown Chloe but somehow the writing/animation team didn´t include that into the show.

Astruc only learned about that cut when the episode aired.

I do wonder why something like that didn´t make it into a 5+ kids show*.

Somehow Felix didn´t get assraped by Cat Noir & Ladybug after stealing their entire box of plastic jewelry

The movie came out, and the overall consensus seems to be “this is exactly what I’ve been wanting out of the show, I really like this.”

And Astruc had nothing to do with it.

It's obvious that Jeremy Zag is the better writer. It does help that Zag isn't hung up on his school days/ex-girlfriends.

Astruc gave us two self-inserts, one based on marrying his chinese ex-girlfriend and having a stalker daughter and the other a 1:1 insert with his own name.

My favorite part was when he claimed that Chloe was just bad and evil like Donald Trump.

Meanwhile the main villain of the show was just a depressed farther wanting his wife back and oh, don’t you just feel so sorry for him

Especially when he clearly doesn't give a shit about the wellbeing of his son, or who he hurts to get his wife back.

From what I can tell, this is a major reason why people are praising the movie so much. In it, he's not like that, and actually does care about that shit, or at the very least, his son.
 
That show used to be playing in the doctor's office where I'd be getting weekly allergy shots, so I'd see bits and pieces of it pretty regularly, and I do recall one scene where the guy's son was about to get merc'd by one of the monsters of the week and he pulled the plug to save him. So he was shown to at least not want his son to bite it at some point in the show, though since I was just seeing disjointed parts of episodes, I have no clue where in the series that's from.

The whole thing about inserting himself in his cartoon to defend/reassure himself is pathetic.

Like I get when you’re creative and want to draw from real life experiences. But there’s a difference between that and trying to give yourself therapy through your stuff no matter how little sense it makes. A comparison I can make is Zeb Wells’ obsession with having comic book characters fall out of relationships or get divorced because Zeb himself got divorced and wants to give himself therapy through the funny books.

Just as this guy is doing it to deal with negative criticism he received online
