I wouldn't be surprised if this is the sort of thing groups like this produce,

And then Chris turns up like this.

I wonder why he joined the group if he's never even been there. I mean I've joined the Facebook pages of places I don't go to very often but at least I have been there. Totally minor but this baffles me.
He wants to go there.

You know, since Barb won't let him, seeing as he's not a free bird... the next best thing would be participating in some discussions on that page...

I really don't think Chris would see a difference, other than possibly his creations being so much better, by virtue of the fact that they're his.

Yeah, that was going to be my next point. A group like this could be a tremendous benefit to him, were it not for the fact that his ego and inability to learn from others would get in the way of any personal development. It would be like The game place all over again, with him being truly awful at the games, yet insisting on telling others how to build their decks. You never know, maybe his isolation has humbled him a little?

I believe the banner is randomized by Facebook.

Ah, cheers. I'm not too good at facebooking. On the plus side, our favorite tomgirl's got as much chance of being a posterboy (postertomgirl?) for the group as any other member.

True enough, he's clearly invented wireless headphones long before they hit the market. Dang dirty trolls must have stolen his true and honest creation.

Even if Chris were to learn some Lego skills, he'd still end up just making preposterous rainbow creations. Buying enough same-color Legos for an entire model is EXPENSIVE

"So ya'all made da emperor states buildings? Hrm. It's not- I mean, it's okay but check dis out! Hmyeah, it's me and my galpal in our roo- in our manshun. Anyway, Imma take off some uh deese grey legos ya'all hogging fer my REAL project."

What the hell is that grey computer thing in the background? Looks like one of those "my first laptop" things but as a desktop. I see an N64 controller as well so Chris is at least 14 here.

^^

Yup, the N64 was released in September 1996 in the US, Sonic 3D blast (the poster behind his "creation") came out in 96 as well as one of the last games for the MegaDrive.

That's right, I can out-sperg Chris when it comes to 90's gaming

Probably just a puberty dirtstache. Borb probably didn't trust him with a razor yet.

Chris had a rockin' dirtstache all through high school.

And the computer looks like a Commodore 64.

I thought of that when I first saw this thread, actually. If he does eventually get to attend, they're not going to be pleased to find out his great Lego accomplishments involve stacking them really high, a bad looking Walkman, a whole lotta race cars, and custom Sonichu and Rosechu Lego people. Chris is still in the young child stage of Legos, really. He's old enough to be able to use Lego instead of Duplo, but he doesn't care if his creations actually look like what he says they are.

Also posters for Mario Cart 64 this is late 1996 early 1997 so he's almost 15
