Chris is at least 14 here.

There's also an Izzy, the 1996 Olympic mascot in the background.

My whole life I thought this pic was taken when he was like ... 6. Holy crap.

Think about what you were doing when you were 14.

I had my first girlfriend and kiss at 14. I was playing Pokemon cards though, so I give Chris some credit there.

I won a Pokemon cards tournement, and left in shame after one of the parents reminded me I had just beaten a room full of 8 year olds. I sold my winning deck for $200.

I have never played it again.

When I was 14, I was trying to get over the teacher I had a crush on in middle school. I was a freshman in high school, and so I cried about everything.

Also posters for Mario Cart 64 this is late 1996 early 1997 so he's almost 15

Yeah, February 97 for that one. Maybe he got it for his birthday instead of cheap, knock-off Lego this year?

at 14 i was a belligerent little shit nobody liked

barbara would probably allow him to go if she went with him. mythbusters redux

at 14 i just learned of punk music.
but at the time of the picture i was finishing up high school.

Interesting how this thread turned in to "look at how much better I was than Chris".

I think its more people are pointing out that even at this stage in his life, Chris was abnormally childish.

That said, he was also totally harmless and inoffensive. I think I'd rather Chris stayed this way personally.

"Look at me, I'm better than a barely-functioning retard! Be impressed!"

More like "phew, I feel better about myself, when there is a retard I can compare with".

Yeah, maybe, but she probably wouldn't want to go regularly. Well, maybe if it was only once a month or something. But watch her complain about the price of gas.

Hard to say for certain... IIRC he is the only source we have about this time of his life. I'm not saying that he must have been a little Eichmann, but still we can't know for certain how full and accurate is Chris's version of his high school years. If Greene county is anything to go by, than Chris had his moments of tard rage and insubordination way before PVCC. Plus there was the incident during his high school years that led him to be reassigned to the special bus, in which a special aide had to discipline Chris several times (see Kacey Call 9).

Still, we have some solid indications that the pre-PVCC Chris wasn't as bad as the man Tomgirl he is today. In his Valentines Day Hymn (look it up on the CWCki I'm too lazy to link) he actually shows happiness for other couples, something we would not see in today's Chris. If his DVD is any indication, he didn't show much antagonism towards the boyfriends of his gal-pals (go to the link I gave and search the name Brian Smart).

No, that's only because he wasn't looking for a girlfriend till he got kicked out of class. I guess we can thank that professor for causing Chris to descend into madness.

Yeah, but he still displayed better behavior in this aspect during high school. Sure, it wasn't due to any altruistic motivation but merely because of his apathy during this time toward the whole subject of romantic relationships, but Chris was still more bearable.

Yeah, your probably right, there were definitely childish tantrums. It's maybe just, despite the laughs, what I tend to see in pictures like this is a guy trying desperately to cling onto his disappearing childhood. Yes it's not healthy, but I dunno, just seems kind of a shame almost. Of course, he's been a grown man for a while now so he really should have left this shit behind ages ago.

The hatred of men seems to have started along with the love quest when he decided that the rest of the male population were responsible for him remaining single. Completely ignoring the gaping hole in his logic where all these other JERKS were in the exact same position as Chris before finding themselves a girlfriend.

But of course nothing is Chris' fault is it? He can't possibly be unattractive to women due to any factors that he has any control over can he? His inability to recognise his shortcomings still remains as arguably his largest self imposed shackle.

Even if Chris isn't good at building he can still go and discuss (as much as Chris can anyway) lego sets and maybe build some of the sets and display them for the group. Like I dunno how fast or how good of a builder he is when he has directions but it'd give him something to do with other people.

Maybe he'll bring some of the Lego knockoffs he has.
