It's genuinely more and more surreal every single time I watch it. The first act of faking the pushups in the first place is a huge, tangible, example of how fragile his "manhood is" Then he limply tries to convince people, drives it up a little more by pretending to wipe his face etc, and then just completely fucking snaps. He's forced to mentally reckon with not only the reality that there's no way he can do 25 pushups and the fact that nobody else believes he can either. It's really interesting to see just how fucking mad he was that someone didn't send him 200 dollars for what he knows is a lie. Phil could just be a really good actor and playing up the anger but I fucking doubt it
