I was wondering how mainstream media might interpret the ChrisChan arrest, and noticed something that might be worth noting. This is by no means that important but I thought I might bring it up in case anyone wants to document it. This is a disgusting level of plagiarism, down to using the same pictures and exact text content.

If you go on google you can find an article by GameRevolution.com about Chris by Jason Faulkner on Sunday, August 1st, 2021. https://www.gamerevolution.com/news/688918-chris-chan-arrested-richmond-virginia

The exact material was copy and pasted by someone named Stephanie Rollins on VirginiaViews.com

I have no idea how high profile VirginaViews is but just goes to show how low some people are willing to go to make money off of tragedy. I guess plagiarism like this is acceptable because Chris is probably seen as too low profile for anyone to care.

Virginia Views must have been living under a rock for all those past 20 years if they think Chris Chan is too low profile. If anything, they're likely cashing on the incident's sheer infamy. Whatever the reason might be, they're scummy for basically copypasting the whole damn thing without even giving credit, let alone asking the original writers.

I managed to find the original author on Twitter and informed him about it. I will see what he says.

Here is his response.

As I said I don't think its groundbreaking information but it could be worth noting what the response is from online news sources to this entire event. This is basically the 9/11 of internet culture. This is just another example of uninformed people who know nothing about Chris attempting to pretend to be "in the know" so that they can make money off of the tragedy of ChrisChan's life.

Also the fact that this website caters to Richmond, Virginia in particular makes it a bit more important.

I think that this Stephanie Rollins character is a fake moniker for what is probably an anonymous poster. They have tons of articles about subjects that they would probably have no knowledge about.
Agree, it's probably just a bot reposting stuff.

I assumed it was some official Richmond, Virginia website or paper, or something with some degree of high profile but looking at the rest of the site it does seem like just some bot aggregate site that happened to snag a good URL for credibility.

Now that he’s been officially arrested and charged with incest it’s going to hit some major news outlets. Public records make it legitimate to report on and they want that easy tidal wave of clicks.

Nobody would touch the story until there was an official arrest on the charge. (Fake tranny suicide they don’t need official public records, but tranny raping elderly mother they do)

I’d bet right leaning news sites will be the ones covering due to Chris being a true and honest woman so they can turn it into a culture war story.

Current events don't really spin through the boomer media news cycle the way you think. Chris will ultimately be a footnote in this entire thing. They'll use weird pictures of him to clickbait with and splice in a few poorly researched anecdotes to pad out the article length, but the focus is going to be on the issue of tranny prison gender stuff. Like there'll probably be more in-depth discussions on podcasts and stuff but that's just noise among the dozen or so headlines that'll fly on twitter, and at the end of the day headlines are what 99% of people read and that's it.
