I've considered making a thread on Creeper Man 90, the guy from the "go to the bathroom you're shitting yourself" video. I've watched some of his streams and it's just 90% autistic grumbling over footage of shitty games. Which makes me kind of think it's not worth it.

I just started searching and looking for links to try and get some content for an Ellen Page thread. But it looks like it'd be an ordeal. Since the transgenderism, theres been name changes all over the place. Ellen Page is a transgender now so is practically a saint so wikipedia is wiped off any controversies. I'm sure this has happened in other places too. Encylopedia Dramatica has nothing

Theres probably stuff I don't know about because I never followed Page, it's just these big things showed up since I hung out in gaming/movie communities at the time.

I'm having trouble finding the trolls messages to Ellen Page on Twitter telling her she did a great job in the Last of Us in 2013. Because it looked like the Director was obsessed with her. I recall Ellen Page responding to the trolls but that was 10 years ago.

At the time she was playing a role in another videogame. Who's director also seemed obsessed with her. I'm having trouble finding the interviews where she said he asked her for her baby/child photos so they could model her accurately. They even 3d bodyscanned her.

What's with these game developers being obsessed with her?

On Feb 14 2004 Ellen Page came out as gay. Which everyone thought was spooky because that's the same time the DLC for the Last of Us came out, alluding Ellie was gay.

Then in 2015 Ellen Page confronted Ted Cruz at a BBQ going at him about LGBTQ rights. And got blown out.



In 2016 she did a gay "documentary" in Brazil for VICE. That doesn't even show up on her IMDB, probably because it's so ridiculous. Where she interviews a murderer who targets gays and tell him she is gay while acting scared. Then goes to the future Presidents office where he tells her he'd whistle to her on the street if he was still a young man.



In 2017 she comes out and says the Director of X-Men in 2006, told some other Woman to fuck Page, to make her realize shes gay.


In 2020 Ellen Page comes out as transgender. And in 2023 wrote a book, which would probably be a laugh. The book title sounds like the title of a gay porno.

A vtuber I sadly befriended a long time ago that has a history of fucking other people over and handling criticism extremely poorly.
I decided against it because there was some personal shit involved with friends (and me) and I rather not have their shit exposed to the world. It would be very disrespectful.

It was in a reddit AMA she did.

Beyond Two Souls was the game where they had to recall and change it to look less like her because she actually sued them I think or did something legally.

Rather sure Beyond Two Souls was changed as well after the shower debug scene came out to make Jodi Holmes look less like her. I remember at the time it was a big thing if you had the original version of the game.

I'm a little dubious on your source that the model was changed. And the ripped model participating in porn scenes seems fairly accurate.

I recently discovered how much of a lolcow Vittorio Sgarbi is (An Italian politician, art critic, art historian and TV personality). Almost all of his appearances on TV have him eventually chimp out and start yelling and swearing at people.
He really deserves his own thread.
Also, various guests and regular callers in Giuseppe Cruciani's show "La Zanzara".

This reminded me of an idea I've had, something similar to the american politics thread but oriented to Kiwis from less relevant countries (like me), I bet you guys would enjoy the stupid shit that happens in Latin America but never heard about.

I think he changed to a different way of embedding because this one doesn't count as a view or something, it works on and off for me

I would make a thread on Ann Coulter. Everything surrounding that woman is hilarious, and she’s had had more impact on American politics than anyone at the Daily Wire.

Tangentially related, I’d also make a thread on plausible celebs that transvestigators may have a point on (e.g. Ann Coulter).

Why don't we have a linguistics thread on the off topic subforum? we have threads about art, philosophy, theology... And every now and then there are Q&A threads about languages and multilingual kiwis. Anyway I think it would be cool

Someday I will make a thread detailing my East Asian Origin hypothesis which posits that all yellow orientals evolved from fish and insects, but that different varieties of oriental lean more towards one than the other.

For example my research finds japanese lean more towards fish and chinese more towards insect. I would point out the cultural and social effects this dichotomy creates and respectfully learn from the perspectives of oriental users here on the farms themselves. Which asians they think derive more from fish or insect etc.

It is a rather academic undertaking and I have been busy with the Late Ming dynasty Philosophers stone red mercury wanggongchung explosion connection which I wish to make a thread on first.

For maybe a little over a year now, I've been considering writing up an OP for a thread focused on the personal story/anecdote subreddits—you know, r/entitled_parents, r/AITA, and various others focused on sharing strange or noteworthy things that you (definitely didn't) experience IRL.

There are enough active subs dedicated to it that it'd have enough content to sustain itself separate from the main Reddit CW thread, and (in my opinion) enough of a unique appeal, between the hilariously fake writing projects that get thousands of upvotes from gullible retards, or the glimpses onto the dumpsterfires that compose the average redditors' personal lives offered by the few genuinely real stories.

There are even meta communities dedicated to these corners of the site, such as r/nothingeverhappens, where retards go to whiteknight every shitty story that gets called out for being obviously fake. They also tend to attract a different overall crowd than most other parts of Reddit (kind of like any newfag-magnet boards on 4chan), since increased exposure via commentary channels and shitty articles on gossip tabloids have attracted a bunch of turbonormalfags who treat it as their personal Reality TV show and think all of it is real. These gossip-hungry locusts are also more likely to make up extravagant fake stories in hopes of getting attention from whatever narration channel brought them there, creating a positive feedback loop as said stories attract more like-minded users.

I was partially inspired by the old "Tall Tales of Tumblr" thread and even have a notepad file somewhere with a list of the most active/relevant subs in the sphere as well as a couple examples of painfully fake posts, but I've been busy over the past few months so haven't been devoting much time to it. If there's any interest, I might put some more energy into it whenever I have time...
