Three children are to be placed for adoption after social workers raised concern about their parents' 'open relationship' may have contributed to neglect.

Their father chose to see other women and their mother, who 'frequented' dating site Plenty Of Fish, had relationships with men she met through the internet, a family court judge was told.

Judge Elizabeth Williscroft said the couple continued their 'dysfunctional relationship' while living in the same house.
Detail of the case has emerged in a written ruling by Judge Williscroft following a private family court hearing.

The judge, who is based in Wolverhampton, said the children were all under five and could not be identified.

She said social services bosses at Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council had asked her to make decisions about the children's future.

Social services staff had described the couple's relationship as 'open', although the couple had disputed the description.

But the judge said the man had chosen to see other women and 'complete strangers' had visited the house to have sex with the woman.

'Father plainly chose to see other women,' said Judge Williscroft in her ruling.
'Mother has stated her relationships with men on the internet began as a result - whatever the cause they were seriously risky.'

The judge added: 'It is plain some complete strangers have visited her house while the children were there to have sex with her.'

She went on: 'They both continued their dysfunctional relationship living in the same home ... all of this must have been confusing for the children.'

Social workers said the couple had also found it hard to supervise their children and Judge Williscroft added: 'Mother was observed parenting 'from the sofa' and relying on others to keep the children safe from hazards.'

The couple claims the marriage wasn't open. Yet the husband was being cucked under his own roof with guys the wife met online and the husband was banging women left and right. My mom is a social worker and frankly if you think they take away kids for shits and giggles,or for profit then you are retarded. These kids are not commodity, they're growing up in a dangerous and neglectful environment.

There are hundreds of cases of crooked child service agents taking kids for frivolous reasons to put them into foster care or adopt them out. And that’s not even getting into the instances where the foster or adoptive home winds up being abusive.

Good on your mom for being an honest social worker because we certainly need them, but there are glaring problems in the field and it does contain instances of serious unethical behavior and abuse.

The language used by the judge and caseworkers in this specific instance as well as the seemingly hasty decision to place three children up for adoption despite very few specific complaints against the father makes me skeptical.

Honestly if the the kids are home while the mother was having strangers come over and taking loads I’m glad they took the kids. It sounds like the parents actually wanted that to, if not why would the mother just be like “yeah little Timmy plays his Nintendo while I’m taking bbc” maybe they are nuts who knows.

That's part of the problem. Kids being seized and hauled off to foster parents or, even worse, some shitty holding facility, is always damage. This is always going to fuck them up. It's just a question whether being with shitty parents is so damaging that it's even worse than that.

Any time you fuck up your life so badly that other people have to step in and decide what's best for your kids, you have either been wronged, or you have fucked up so badly you should never be in charge of anything for the rest of your life.

Once CPS types get into your life, you're never, ever getting them out.

People should be terrified of any government agency that has that level of power.

Yeah the problem is all the other instances where there actually isn’t a valid reason and the case worker was either responding to bad rumors or straight up got caught fabricating shit in the first place.
