I agree with this, except I do think he is just about pompous enough to be a cow in his own right. I've watched a lot of his content, and while he does make valid points, he can also come across as extremely malicious at times. Despite being a learned man, he treats his audience like goldfish by constantly re-using the same pieces of footage over and over again, and it often seems as if he courts controversy just for the sake of self-aggrandizement. I don't hate him, but I don't particularly like him either.

He has the same annoying feature as Sargon, where he pompously takes a fucking half hour to say something that basically amounts to "hurr durr Anita Sarkeesian stupid" and then acts like he's a deep thinker when everyone knows that cunt is stupid and could say it in like three seconds.

I've noticed he has had interviews with Lawrence Krauss and Richard Dawkins which is kind of impressive. I'll have to watch his "Why do people laugh at creationists," videos because I laugh at them too.

He also interviewed members of the Westboro Baptist Church, trolled them by asserting that Jesus endorsed homosexuality, and then got called a "deeply corrupted pervert."

It's all about the Youtube bucks. They do it just to increase the length and time watched of their videos. That's why Thunderf00t makes multiple videos commenting on the same issue, and repeats the same lines, graphs and graphics 3-4 times per video.

I wouldn't say it's too bad in comparison to everyone else, since most people on Youtube increases the video length with bullshit. The fact that he acts so smug about his superior intellect and reasoning skillz when he spends twenty minutes of not saying anything doesn't make him look good, though.

This is pretty much the "skeptic community" in a nutshell, though. That, and the fact that they operate on a basis of "I am a rationalist. Therefore, everything I say is rational. Therefore, my opinions are automatically correct."

It was amazing how quickly it all fell apart and right along the same idealogical lines as gamergate. There was this golden age of internet skepticism where everyone got along and it was all about coming together and making fun of internet jesus spergs. It was basically low yield trolling. And then it shattered and everyone's inner exceptional came out almost at the exact same minute.

And Kevin Logan rightfully was like "actually that is rape..."

I actually thought it was stupid that all of these SJWs condescendingly push education about consent as if everyone but them is too dumb to understand such a basic concept, but ironically TF actually legitimized that SJW feminist opinion that I had disagreed with before, by proving that apparently even some PhD scientists don't understand basic elements of what consent is.

Yeah, it would seem a little bit sadder to me if, given his above mocking of basic consent issues, he did have a girlfriend. She'd have to have self-esteem a little lower than the current position of the Titanic for various reasons.
