I'm actually rather glad he doesn't do much research. About the only thing that would make Tiberius Rising any worse for me would be if Jenkins had spent his time sipping poitin, sharing the craic and telling teh mulsims to "pogue mahone".

Stryker in this section reminded me of the main character in Spec Ops: The Line.

And I'd say this loading screen fits the chapter pretty well.

Wouldn't that be great if Tiberious Rising did a 180 at some point and became a Spec Ops-esque deconstruction of military fantasy stories?

It was touching that Stryker went to the effort of saving Jenkins' lifeless corpse from that RPG round.
 
Does Jace even know how to actually write sequential storylines correctly? Goodness.
 
This is a collection of his wet dreams, loosely tied together.

Has he written himself a romantic interest yet?
 
Man, reading this chapters actually a bit stomach-churning for me.

Its no longer silly action of blowin up them muslim-terrorists (SAMETHINGAMIRITE butsrsly Jace doesnt know the diff) and BEING A MARINE!1, now its disrupting the meditative prayers of innocent bystanders before slaughtering the lot of them.

Fuck!

It slowly works its way farther and farther toward reality, ending with a basement-dwelling sperg putting away his airsoft gun, getting a job, and moving away from home. Jace is never heard from again.

NO DUDE THAT'S UNREALISTIC! THEY'RE A... *coughing fit* DUDE! They're basically a collection of VET DREAMS, okay? UNITD. STATES. RETIRED. WOUNDED. ARTISTIC. VETERAN. Also a vet as in veterinarian because Stryker is an advanced combat veterinarian who knows how to patch up Soap. TAAHAA THAT'S SICK
