Oh this just keeps getting better. This makes it even more impossible to tell if Jace is just the work of a dedicated satirist because this seems like something a strawman conservitive would write. "Fartbongo's gonna take away my constitutional right to own anti-aircraft weapons!"
I really hope that this ends with an epic fight on the White House roof between Stryker and Obama in power armor.

Again, TR would be great material for a deconstructive rewrite. Stryker is a psychotic rogue soldier, and DeagleNation is a domestic terrorist group.
 
I'm just surprised he added in Frank Williams and Deagle Nation, I mean Stryker being Jace's ideal self isn't exactly new but I'm pretty sure this is the first time he's given Stryker things from his life rather than claiming things from Stryker's life to be his own.

At this rate the Tiberius trilogy may even break away from COD and cheap military wish-fulfillment novels! I mean it'll always be wish-fulfillment but I doubt any of Jace's inspirations ever had gamer fraternities fighting the US government and winning by virtue of Agent Eli sending them a shipment of Desert Eagles unlike any you'd find in a catalogue.

I think it's a reference to Tyce, but more likely an indirect reference to people who said that Tyce was a child soldier and that beating him up was child abuse.

I really, really want this to happen because it would be hilarious, but I think it'd hit too close to home for Jace. I don't think Tyce is the sort of person he'd want to exist in his ideal world. It seems like he tolerates Tyce at best, and even then that's only because nobody else will hang out with him. It'd be like including Gail in the book. I think if we ever see anyone like Tyce in the Tiberius universe, they will be a heavily re-written alternate version of Tyce that appeals to Jace's wants and desires more, with all the racism, sped-fucking and puking quietly trimmed out.

I could make a really cheap gay joke here but I'm not going to, use your imagination and pretend I said something really clever if you wish.

Using my imagination is gay and unrealistic.

I could see all that being true... I'm not sure about it though. I mean he's blending this book more and more with his actual life by adding in Frank Williams and Deagle Nation itself which have never been referenced here before and I may just be hopeful that he slowly turns this into a bizarre fanfic about his life and everyone in it. (Gail and Rob Stryker?)
 
I will say, Jace showed considerable restraint in not making Obama an "ISLAM IN DISGUISE WHO'S CONSPIRING TO DESTROY AMERICA" type. Knowing my luck though, there's going to be a plot twist at some point that reveals that he totally is that.

Tiberious Rising would become infinitely more enjoyable if it possessed some degree of self-awareness.
 
Whoooa, man... Jace's writing has improved a bit. Yeah it's still a mary sue fanfic, but the quality of his prose got a bit better. I can't believe I'm saying this, but way to go Jace!
