I know this post is going to cause quite of a ruckus on here as I have been contemplating about posting it. So here goes.
I am an ASMRtist myself. No, I am not here to self advertise, nor am I here to defend the ASMR Community. In fact, your words and posts about the ASMR Community and the genre itself are valid. I can even agree with some of you on here.
As for what developed my interest in ASMR, well number one, I work nights and need something to help me sleep during the day. Number two, I mainly engaged into creating ASMR videos because it looked fun and creative.
If you want to watch some of my videos or if you want to ask me anything about the ASMR Community, feel free to do so. I am also willing to talk about how the ASMR Community has changed over the years.
Again, I am aware of the backlash I may receive, but then again I chose to post this of my own free will.
