It's something to do with the internet opening up to normies and also becoming dominated by social media. Many people seem to believe that your online image should be exactly who you are irl, or else you're 'faking' or you're suspicious somehow. They also don't really understand how the internet handles personal data and trust companies 100%.

I generally agree that Tiktok is pretty much the slightly less regulated leg of OF advertising than Instagram. I see tons of content of OF chicks doing lewds/nudes on tik tok to get people to check out their OF. I also think that these same chicks are the type who end up signal boosting whorish behavior into tik tok vids by either making challenges (like the bussit challenge and silhouette challenge, which have both been archived to a degree on reddit) that promote whoring, general whorish behavior like wearing bikinis/lingerie for the normal dance and lip sync vids and adding in sexualized twists like cutting to being naked/having sex/slamming dildos up their cooters. I think a lot of that turns into women in general but also a lot of the underage girls engaging in similar behavior. I know there is still a pedo problem and a friend of my wife let her 10 year old daughter set up an account that the parents could keep an eye on. The daughter then made a second secret account and would post normie videos of herself drawing and amassed 30k followers and would get messages from adults asking for pics.
