It's hard to say because I remember people saying the brain aneurysm, which was caused by her suicide attempt, totally changed her into the Nazi supporting anti-semetist that she is now. Since she never expressed those views before the suicide attempt I guess it's possible. So if that's the case I would answer yes. Even though she wasn't the most stable person before all that, being told you'll become a crazy Hitler loving conspiracy theorist with brain trauma would probably be enough for most people to prefer being dead.
