This guys gotten so used to being around “””anarchists””” he’s also started waiting for some social collapse. He can act like such a dork, but I’m certain some of the things he does enlightens people.

I was particularly impressed by how much he grilled the Twitter executives on Joe rogans podcast and it probably opened a lot of eyes.

It’s kind of funny how he considers himself left wing, but could safely call himself right wing libertarian or whatever. Has he ever really explained why he still considered himself left wing? I have a hunch his explanation included his “rebellious” music taste as a youth.

He’s cited being anti-war and pro-choice, as well as being pro-social programs in some of the videos I’ve watched. While I don’t think being “anti-war” or “pro-social programs” makes him a leftist, I can’t say I know anyone that considers themselves “ring wing” that thinks abortion should be legal.

TL;DR Im pretty sure Tim Pool stole his brothers business, Subverse, and his brother is trying to sue him now.

So Ive known for a while that Tim Pool's brother is a youtuber called Reactor. Well recently Reactor posted this Gofundme to his twitter, asking for help paying for a lawsuit but he didnt name the people he was trying to sue. When I read it I noticed it sounded a lot like he was planning on suing Tim Pool, his brother. Back in 2019 Tim made this video saying his brother started Subverse and that Tim joined him later on. then we have this PDF from Tims crowd investor page that shows his brother isnt there and a new guy has taken his place. Let me know if you guys agree that Im on to something.

I am totally shocked that a guy who is a hypocrite in his political beliefs is a hypocrite in other areas as well.

I can’t believe I didn’t think to check if Tim had a thread here.

While I generally like hearing what he has to say, the past few days he’s shown a lack of self awareness that I didn’t expect. His whole “we don’t need more restrictions of firearms, we need a registry!” opinion ignores the argument that it’s far easier to confiscate when there’s a registry, while at the same time saying that freedoms are being restricted incrementally. No shit, beanie boy.

He says that he’s okay with people blocking streets because “muh civil disobedience!” while he works at home, yelling at a camera about shit he reads on the internet. Of course it doesn’t affect him.

The video he did on the professor who sued because a school fired him for “misgendering” someone was pinging my hypocrisy meter off the chart, though. He said conservatives need to “grow a spine” and quit self censoring; maybe he can use a few naughty words and say the whistleblower’s (alleged) name in a video, then come back to that topic. He then says that you can just quit your job if you don’t like what’s going on there, which is quite rich coming from someone in his 30’s who’s single and doesn’t have a family to support. On that topic, he talks shit about single men like he’s some kind of alpha male, but again, single and no kids at 30.

Maybe I’m just MOTI, but he strikes me as the kind of guy who’d be cool with working at the Ministry of Truth.
He is more the kind of person who thinks if something works for him personally then it is just true across the board for everyone. The biggest example is his constant "college is a scam" rhetoric. He didn't go to college and turned out okay so college is a scam! Except that statistically people without college degrees earn less and have higher rates of unemployment. And all those celebrities and tech moguls who dropped out are the exception, not the rule. Like Tim, they got lucky.

As much news as he consumes, Tim is generally pretty ignorant and will speak with authority then handwave it away with "it's complicated."

People can shit talk formal education all day, but it does say something that a "journalist" cannot be bothered to fishish high-school. Yes beanie boy I'm talking about you. Eric Arthur Blair didn't go to college but at least he studied in Eton. In true lolcow fashion, Tim will refuse to learn everything new. Sad.

Looks like you were right. Tim Pool allegedly stole his brother's business.

Chris still lists himself as a the founder and Marketing Project Manager at Subverse on linkedin but there is no mention of him on the about page on Subverse. Tim is listed as the founder and Emily Molli is listed as the CCO and co-founder.

I'm going to assume he's being serious but it's hard to tell. It is Reactor and he has pulled stunts like this in the past.

I remember seeing Mumkey’s video on this guy back in the day, had no idea he was related to beanie man - though in retrospect they do look very similar. Interesting how they are both defined by their iconic headwear.

Man, fucking lawsuits with family? Are you kidding? Sounds depressing. Probably this is just used as a bargaining chip (the kickstart i mean) to settle negotiations. Why are people so exceptional that they can't talk it over a coffee?

Also Reactor is a hardcore pothead and that's very relevant to take into account for his credibility,

Saying "allegedly" before any claim avoids potential lawsuits for defamation, no matter how factual the statement is. It makes you sound like a disingenuous dumbfuck stirring up shit but that's how it is I guess.
Shirley he has evidence. This isn't some third party we're talking here.........he is directly involved.

Tim has done more videos that will "enrage feminists"... that faggot better be slaying angry feminist pussy. His "youtube channel" angle is fucking genius.

Nick Rekieta interviewed Tim Pool in April 2019 where they talked about the dispute between his Subverse and the Subverse game raising money on Kickstarter.

That's the point I'm trying to make, right. Subverse is a bunch of things, my brother does work, my brother's got 90,000 subs. He exists, he has rights to the trademark, just because I'm bigger doesn't change that.

'cause quite honestly, Subverse is 99% just me. I'm sorry, that's unfair. My brother started it, but my brother is like doing his record channel, he's coding some video game. He's absolutely involved, and he like maintains the website and other social media network stuff.

This is like the nightmarish nature that is any public spat. My brother is making a video game. It will have the Subverse branding.
