Tim Pool - 'journalist' who claims to be a sensible centrist & sucks Sargon of Akkad's wiener; Afraid of the Milkshake ANTIFAs

I shall now proceed to make fun of prepper Tim. The food bucket is like Tim. When Corona-chan comes and you have to hunker down and eat the food bucket. It is repetitive and there are dozens of it.

New to the thread, but I had to come over here when I saw he set up his own store to hawk survival supplies. It's like... easy now Alex Jones.

Honestly, I find the guy entertaining. It's a good way to get my fear-porn fix without going full tilt and listening to InfoWars. I don't know if you guys know this but Tim is actually on the left and is a skateborder who worked for both Vice and Fusion. He was even on Joe Rogan! That really simultaneously appeals to my hipster and fence-sitting tendencies. He's like the perfect blend of millennial self-promotion and late gen x ennui rolled up in one.

But Here's the thing...

I think we should try to get some kind of movement to get Tim to start saying "here's the skinny" instead of "here's the thing". I think if we apply pressure, we can get him to change his catch phrase.

I'm gonna be frank with you. Nobody would be behind that phrase. Here's why: "Here's the beanie" is superior.

His survival buckets are over priced dehydrated and freeze dried mixes of dubious quality, the packaging looks cheap definitely not near MRE quality with people complaining some of the packaging started leaking after a year or so.

The menu on it has a reasonable portion of junk food like pudding mix which imo is a waste of money. the 4 week kit is priced at $197 USD with most likely some hidden costs associated.

People have been complaining about the delay on shipped goods because I guess many people are buying so expect a long wait for your product to arrive. For what you get in this kit you could get double that without needing to wait for shipping if you just buy from the store with the advantage of the stuff being canned or frozen instead of freeze dried and dehydrated foods.

All in all its a bad value proposition across the board and mainly sold to rubes that are too stupid or lazy to draw up and shop a basic prep pantry for $100-200 dollars. Its insane the amount of basic staples (rice, pasta, seasonings ect..), canned goods, drink formulas and water you can get for $200 USD and its fresher probably lasts longer and more nutritious then the goods being sold in this kit.

P.S No I didn't buy the kit. I looked into it because its funny Tim Pool is selling out his fans for cash and wanted to confirm that it is indeed a piss poor deal.

Jesus fuck that latest episode on the Young Turks and the union busting.

"I would quit my job and sleep on a bench if they are being hypocrits"

Oh go fuck yourself, you're turning into a less jewish Ethan Klein with this podcast horseshit you're doing. Most people give zero shit about the shit their boss gets up to. I don't work for the principles, I work for the cash. I'm not risking going homeless because I want to pretend my job actually gives a singular fuck about my beliefs.

Okay, I've been thinking Tim has gone full conservative for a while with his few points here and there about "hey, the left has won. Can't we just sit back and enjoy it?" and other stuff. Like, Tim is getting older, he has some clearly conservative positions on things like marriage and dating, and his only real leftist hate boner is for rich people. He's an Occupy loser through and through, that will never change.

But this video was very interesting. Towards the end, Tim really gets on the responsibility bandwagon, saying "play stupid games, win stupid prizes", and he even starts to say that the woman who got hit with fire "deserved" it, before he stops himself and makes a standard ten second disclaimer before he utters anything remotely resembling an opinion.

But yes, Tim. You're right. The protestors who break the law and try to vandalize shit DO deserve to get hurt, whether that is by getting set on fire or by having dogs set on them or fire hoses turned on them. And yet if you take that position you will be called a fascist. Because what the rest of us call 'law and order', leftists call 'tyranny'.

Listen man, it's complicated. He's a left-leaning milquetoast fence sitter who's part Korean, a skateboarder who grew up on the south side of Chicago, who was homeless and worked for Vice back when it was about doing journalism!

It'll be a cold day in hell before he comes out of the closet as a conservative. I can respect the hustle, but I'm sure it's all about the views; you can't have Republicans come to your channel and feel like they're reaching across the aisle if you claim to be on their side of the aisle. Otherwise, you're just a boring/balding Steven Crowder with a stupid beanie and patchy facial hair.

On another note, he's been pissy about being anti-death penalty; is being pro-death penalty still a conservative thing? Or is that far right now? Anyone know?

I watched like two of this guy's videos and now he's unavoidable with his 100 daily videos when I leave Youtube on for noise in the background. Tim is up there in massive quantities of shit 'content' with DSP.
Find one of his videos on your "home" page, click the 3 dots at the bottom right below the thumbnail, select "don't recommend channel" from the dropdown menu. I had to finally do that around the time he started thinking literally everything was an indicator for an upcoming civil war.

The death penalty isn't a left-right issue so much as a libertarian-authoritarian issue. Both parties have an auth wing that's for it and a lib wing that doesn't trust the government with that power.

If you're a genuine social conservative, you should hate elites because elites hate you and use their millions to push all the shit you hate. Tim could be a Nazbol/Third Positionist if he had any kind of balls, but he doesn't so he remains this weird centrist fence-sitter.

Are you going to take him into the shelter of your park bench?
Nah, fam. There's COVID-19 in them parts.

Didn't he call the cops the last time you dropped by?
Surely everything will go right THIS time.

Jokes aside, he's got a point in the video. There's severe govermental overstepping going on.
