"A lot of people want to take censorship and immediately apply a negative connotation to it. No no. Censorship isn't always bad. If someone goes online and starts posting child exploitation, you want that censored. It's illegal. If someone goes on and says 'go commit x against person y' or whatever, you want that censored!"
No, Tim. Those two things are not the same at all. But good job on embracing your status as a journalist and finally coming out as pro-censorship. Fuck's sake.
The pro-censorship lobby will always use child porn as a way to open the door just a little bit. Just a tiny, little bit. No. Child porn is the limit. It is the
only thing that is worth censoring on the internet. Gore footage, execution videos, bestiality, incest porn, and yes, threats of direct violence, are all part and parcel of interaction on the web. Twitter is not the police. They do not have the legal training to determine what constitutes incitement of violence. It would seem these days that no one does, since everyone argues that Trump incited violence on January 6th. I don't care what the hell Antifa is saying, they should be allowed to say it, in broad daylight, so that we can all see exactly what kind of disgusting freaks they are.
