Rough Timeline as I remember it:
- Tim starts making money doing his news videos (which were bearable because of their short, punchy nature)
- Tim gets thrown on Joe Rogan to shit on twitter owner Jack Dorcy and utterly eviscerates the lawyer lady he brought with him
- More subscriber growth, Tim gets a big head and dreams of a politically neutral news room to replace mainstream media
- Subverse is born, I believe with Emily Mollie as Tim's partner. Rocco, the crazy schizo commie is brought on because Tim knew him from Occupy. Tim's brother did have a role, but I don't remember what.
- Subverse is shit.
- A porn studio sets a fundraising record for a game called "Subverse" utterly eclipsing Tim's news site's searchability.
- Tim threatens to sue, appears on Rekieta Law to talk big, but no one gives a shit and the porn studio adds Tim into the game as a Crawfish journalist with a beanie. It should be pointed out that Tim didn't own the international Trademark for Subverse and the porn studio picked up before all this happened. He didn't have a leg to stand on.
- Rebrands to SCNR with an autistic emphasis on shark imagery, presumably because Emily Molli likes sharks?
- I don't remember specifics, but the way Rocco covered January 6th or a different event pissed Tim off and he suddenly remembered he had a news site. Tried to fire Rocco, Emily and I think Rocco steal a bunch of equipment, accusations of cat theft and view botting abound. Arguments over who was the CEO, gay attempts and keeping control of the company, etc.
- Lots of Rocco Schizo sperging some of which was documented here and in their lawsuit thread:

- Lots of radio silence, lawsuit eventually settled, a while later Tim restarted the company under the new banner of Timcast News and just recently rebranded back to SCNR, but without the weird shark motif.

Edit to add: Tim is sort of cursed by his name being the only thing that gets him views / attention. He lucked out with his Timcast brand and has been unsuccessful in spinning that success onto other projects. He wants to diversify, but everything he tries keeps failing. I think now that his newsroom is regularly putting out articles that he frequently uses in his videos, he feels like it's time to get it away from his name. Which is a smart move, but he's so clumsy with this stuff I wouldn't be surprised if it implodes again.

Supposedly Tim's brother was using botnets and buying views or subscribers according to Rocco. In leaked audio with Rocco, Tim calls his brother mentally retarded.

Conner is alright when he isn't talking about anything related to Christianity, then he becomes insufferable. That being said Conner is consistent with his views, unlike Tim who can talk for so long that he'll end up defending shit he claims to be against (and then in a month will claim he was never for it).

Movie Night, Coffee Shops, Video Games, Family Events (also ties in with movie nights), I'm sure there's more but it doesn't come to mind at the moment. I'd say music but he actually produced awful garbage. Did he want to make actual movies too? Probably.

He half asses everything and does a lot of half assed things at once so they all fall apart from neglect and being half baked. I'm glad its picking up steam faster than I expected. Still gonna be a while before he really starts to feel it, but maybe a year or two sooner.
 
Out of curiosity, I checked SCNR's metrics on Alexa. I found it funny that gaytimes.co.uk outranks them in the USA.

I don't understand the importance of establishing yet another churnalism site. Which is what SCNR is. To give credit, they do hyperlink their sources and give proper attribution, but their content is quoting and paraphrasing other outlets that are at least trying to get quotes and sources. Tim's crew would be able to get inside sources from a lot of sympathetic GOP offices, but he's probably burned a lot of those bridges, such as with MTG and Jim Jordan, with his various libertarian-esque purity testings.

His idea to fund startup businesses for paying members to the Timcast website. I wonder how many people he suckered in to sign up in hopes of being able to participate? Tim nixed it because assigning winners at random is gambling. Simple solution is to get 5 Branch Timidians to form a panel and choose a winner, which is how every single charity in the developed world issues grants.
