It's the side effect of working on youtube. He likely sees a lot of first timers in his comments that treat him like a news source, so he constantly repeats his stories if he feels it helps build his case to a stranger. It's the classic problem with youtubers, if you treat everyone like longtime viewers, you leave the noobs out of the loop and confused, making it less likely they convert to steady watchers.

That hunter ep came up in my autoplay and it was rough. That gentrification part was pretty much self-styled experts in fixing the ghettos put into a soundbite/ nutshell. "We can fix poverty! Let's put a bunch of apple stores in there!" which, if done, is quickly followed by "Oh, they're putting in all kinds of stuff , my dad said if I got back to community college to finish my associates' in literature he'll get me an apartment in that loft all those people got stabbed in. It's just so REAL down there, like it has that authentic energy you only feel around the working class."

See, if you consider that, basically, where we're at right now, I don't want to say this, but preeeetty much, its sort of like - and I'm sure YouTube will take this video down for me saying this - BUT hopefully they'll grant me an exemption for news because its NOT me saying this! No, he didn't. He can't even take a firm stance on his own plans. He says he's going to send a ground team out to verify the networking is good and that he might show up and he might not. He is "it's complicated"-ing his own schedule. And he has the nerve to call other people spineless. Tim is so terrified of predicting something and being wrong that he constantly backtracks literally everything he says. And he thinks he can be a successful business owner. Absolutely pathetic.

I finally unsubbed this year from him. He has done/become everything he used to bash people for. He used to call journalists cowardly and lazy for writing articles without going "on the ground", or doing their own research, or parroting other articles, but he's been doing the very same for at least 2 years now. He used to call out those journalists for using misleading, clickbait headlines, now he does the same exact thing and admits that he has to to get clicks. He's completely untrustworthy.

His hypocrisy has gotten far worse. He slanders hard-working police officers, saying they are cowards and "oathbreakers" because they refuse to defy orders from the chief of police or the mayor just because they want to keep their job and feed their families. And yet Tim constantly refuses to show important footage, or say things that are controversial, or do anything else that might cost him ad revenue on a single video. He completely cucks to YouTube, sucking its dick every day that he can in order to maximize his profits while claiming that the only way you have free speech is if you are willing to fight to defend it. He self-censors every single day because he wants to keep YouTube going rather than just trying to make it on his own website. What an inspiring small business owner he is.

One of his videos is titled that he plans to be there. So yes, he's said he will. Whether he will or not remains to be seen.

I doubt he will go.

And then his audience will point that out and he will moan saying he's being attacked by the right again. Because holding someone accountable to their own words seems to make you right wing in his mind.
