Tim Pool - 'journalist' who claims to be a sensible centrist & sucks Sargon of Akkad's wiener; Afraid of the Milkshake ANTIFAs

  • 🔧 Actively working on site again.
Oh no, that will not happen.
First, this is not the first time the Left attacked him.
Second, Youtube uses him to gather people towards the middle, he’s said as much, so they can kill of the fringes on either side quietly while keeping track of the large base Tim has.
If YouRube ever attacks Tim it is by accident. Not on purpose.
Except in the past 4 years, it was profitable and persuasive to be in the center and to tard-wrangle the alt-right and the Left. Now, it's obvious the Centrists utterly failed although it really wasn't their fault the Republicans cucked themselves into irrelevancy. Any calls to keep calm and moderate no longer work because people now see it as a call to comply.

5:00 - Guys, it's happening. Tim is becoming Sargon. In one of his recent videos (I think it was his 4 PM on Saturday, can't remember and don't feel like looking) he said that he was thinking about "dialing it back on the weekends" so he could work on his Timcast IRL streams. And now he's trying to push membership onto his website, which even he admits, gets you nothing. He is asking people to become a member of his website and pay him money before he has produced a single piece of member-exclusive content.

I'm dying. The only thing beanie boy had going for him was his work ethic and now that the election is dying down he's taking break after break, cutting one of his shows so he can produce shitty talk show crap that no one watches. This is going to be a train wreck.

These days, I find myself watching Summit Properties NW for Tim Pool-esque news. Yes, he does the click-bait titles, yes his channel has drifted far away from talking about real estate, and yes, the man himself by definition of his profession is a grifter, but he's not an embarrassing sperge like Tim is. Making fun of that guy is just so boring while Tim is a legit lolcow.

He soooooo wants to fill the Rogan you tube void.

This can be context-sensitive to other cows; Tim produces a ton of real, monetization-worthy content that is largely free. Asking for dedicated funds isn't unreasonable and it's incredibly easy to say "no, fuck off" while still maintaining access to everything he makes and consuming it. I think of other cows like Jake Alley, who begs for money/patrons while producing absolutely NOTHING of value for his Patreon subscribers(he somehow thinks tweeting fulfills this) and it's like night and day.

Tim's still a cow and hilariously mishandling all the 2021 news so far, don't get me wrong.

I’m not sure his current content is monetization-worthy. His election/post-election grift seemed very sloppy and lazy to me. He really doesn’t seem to have been putting much time or effort into his talking points, predictions, or interpretation of events.

Tim Pool is allergic to the kind of conviction that being a dissident political commentator requires. Even if it's bad conviction people just want you to believe something.

If he was asking for money he would say Timcast.com/donate like he always did (which I never complained about)

He's asking people to sign up for a monthly subscription. The goal behind those is and always has been to get people to sign up and forget about it so you make money for nothing.

I'd say he's been phoning it in for the past two years at this point. Except he can't be the next JRE because he's a boring person in real life. You know, the type to always talk about IRL politics in a conversation and tries to direct every conversation to himself, which Joe Rogan didn't do all that much.

Joe Rogan isn't particularly interesting himself. Just try watching any of his stand up.

But otherwise, I agree with what you're saying. Rogan's good at letting guests just speak their world view (Alex Jones being the exception). If you watch his talk show, you'll see Tim is the complete opposite.

He's interesting accidentally. When he's on-topic, then veers off to rant about kettlebells, chimpanzee muscle mass or trannies he is funny but not because he intends to.

I think it is to the right audience. His videos are boring to me but I can tell they're better put-together and 1000% more watchable than say TheQuartering or ClownfishTV's near daily videos for IdPol nerd culture wars.

Now that I agree with 100%, I really don’t understand how anyone can sit through the other two without nodding off for a nap

Joe Rogan, despite being a millionaire that moved to Texas to avoid paying California property taxes (the taxes that actually pay for roads and schools), is like a normal person where he talks about whatever hobby he's thinking of whether it's DMT or MMA or whatever his guest is interested in. The only real time I thought Rogan fucked up was when he interviewed Mike Tyson. Shockingly tone-deaf when it was clear Tyson was a recovering addict when it came to boxing.

Meanwhile, Tim is very tedious to listen to because he's got the brain of a college sophomore. Yeah, I know that he dropped out of high school, but I'm referring to the meaning of the word sophomore, which you can see from his dumb pontifications.
