It’s why I like Jimmy Dore. Of his rocker the dude may be but you can tell he believes the nonsense he spouts. Tim not so much.

It’s how you can tell that Tim does not undetstand his audience. He constantly talks about how they want him to side with Trump and they bitch at him for not doing when what his audiance is actually bitching at him for is having no conviction to pick any side or hold any opinion for more than 2 seconds. And if he has done, it is beyond transparent that he is not saying so to kerp up the fence sitter angle. And everyone can tell.

I remember catching the podcast where they were discussing Trump's capitulation to the pork bill. Luke was going off on Trump not fulfilling "muh promises" in time, while Tim was just deflecting his point on why Trump did it. And in one instance, I recall him saying, "Stop making me defend him [Trump}." That told me everything.

All I can say is, Tim's one hell of an exceptional guy. If you don't know what "exceptional" means, please lurk more.

Funny you say this. He put out a video today saying Trump is spineless if he doesn't pardon Assange. The absolute irony.

For someone who says he spends all the reading and researching the news, Tim spends a lot of his time either not reading the article he makes videos about or not reading the information the article is based on.

Its because he's a grifter. He spent 1 week in HS and he thinks he knows more than people with degrees.

I got a question that I can't seem to answer after all this time. Where the fuck did that one million dollars Tim rose for SCNR go? I remember him trying to shill his 'news' station for a few weeks, and after the kickstarter ended? Nothing, not a peep out of the man. Yet I keep hearing about this desire to buy land, build things, create a 'culture'. Those things cost money, along with the money to afford what can be assumed to be a decently sized/large house. Yet SCNR is for all intents and purposes dead. The last video they put out was three weeks ago, no coverage on the storming of the capital, no word on Biden's inaguration. I can't help but wonder where the fuck all of that fundraising money went to.

No saying you are wrong, but sometimes I think people vastly under estimate how expensive things are. It could be a case that he woefully undersold the work and money required, and sort of just let it slide to nothing. You see it often on kickstarter, people asking for 200k to make the next big MMORPG, or 100k to secure the rights to remake a LOTR movie. Fucking idiots basically.

I m gonna make a sargon comparison here.

Sargon had a more respectable grift when he did his "this week in stupid" videos. I would call it respectable in the sense that his audience knew what they were getting and liked the product.

When he tried to parlay that into politics he fucked up big time because he vastly vastly vastly over estimated his intelligence and knoweldge.

What I stand in shock of is this for people like sargon and tim. how fucking hard is it to spend 1-2 hour a night reading. For sargon he kept refering to fucking john locke and company when its clear he had only the most basic of grasps of the source material and the fucking centuries proceeding it.

I make the same complant about communisit and marxist. Dad KAPITAL is over 150 years old and we can see where marx came out with his theories and any leftest who bothered to read germany philosophers/economist etc would come out of that reading better educated.

If tim spent 1-2 hour a day reading on political/economic/military history he might be able to come up with some engaging content.

Fuck have him reading A&N and see what happens.

Why should he bother? Clearly his grift is working as his fans are either less educated/read than he is or just want someone to confirm their bias.

thats a very good point, though his "civil war" shit caused him to drop the mask that was barley hanging on.

Also his whole "career" is interesting though at this point I dont know what is and isnt myth.

He had a good hook with the "I worked at vice and wanted to do 'real' stories but my producers/editors thought idpol content was better" so know he does real stories by yelling at a web cam all day.

His "career" was just him being young and friends with the lazy assholes "occupying Wallstreet". After that he was a prop placed in news worthy situations to hold a camera and mic.
