Oh man, that superhero shit turned me off on Tim too. I really don't like modern American millennial culture (infantile obsession with juvenile things) and adult men in America REALLY need to grow up.
I liked some of the movies but then just stopped caring. I remember watching one of the newer ones and it just didn't do anything for me, it just felt like a bunch of stuff. I'll still listen to some stuff in the background as lore or whatever, but I don't think I'd go out of my way to watch it in a movie theater, and I'm someone who watches anime.

My impression was that Tim Pool simply doesn't know anything else apart from Marvel movies as a frame of reference.
Yup, I thought he was doing it to make complicated things more relatable to the average person, but the more you listen to him the more you realize he just doesn't know much outside of that. He doesn't need to be some scholar in philosophy, but there are better ways to explain things directly than use superhero references. I think the older I get the more I dislike people who just constantly make references, it's like a shortcut to appearing relatable while not saying anything useful. I get it, we both saw Office Space, but you can stop quote it now kind of thing.

Depends on the quality of the reference. Original and clever statement? Good. Tired cliché, like a Harry Potter house or something? Fuck off.

I find most people aren't even making a reference to anything half the time, they just spit something out that's recognizable in hope of contributing to the discussion despite having nothing to contribute.

It happened a couple of years ago. The two hilights Sam Seder fans point to is when he talked about Thanos as an example of utilitarianism and how that proves utilitarianism is bad and how he's typing to look up things in real time.

I'm watching it now, about half an hour in and this is painful. Tim needs to learn when to shut up because he's trying to talk over this guy in hopes of controlling the conversation but he's just digging his own hole deeper. Talking over someone like this only works when you're trying to gish gallop, but Tim just concedes his point and lets the other guy reframe it in the process of trying to make his next statement.

California is the most notable one. The reason is, I believe, that government officials legally cannot have their names appear in those search results with the address, and due to the impossibility of tracking that counties in CA, they just don't show both the name and address. Also, California is just one of the worst states to search for title stuff. A little digression, but it may help a KFer in the future.

Florida and TX sometimes have confidential properties. A few other states do too but TX and FL are the biggest; I believe they block out military and law enforcement. Some county sites have holes/bugs where you can trick the system into spitting out the confidential information--unsecured PDF generator plugins.

---
Also, third party vendors however may have this information and are either plugged into county systems already, or have done their own tracking. Back when I worked with this stuff there were tools where you could search by name or address and get accurate info. So even you're not safe there.

There might be. You'd have to talk to a lawyer, there is probably some complicated arrangement on how this would be done, but for the average person, if you want to hide, you might want to rent it. Don't let them tell you the trust is enough if you're gonna ever possibly have to sign any docs with your own name at the county and have them recorded. As you can see, if Tim intended the trust to give him privacy, it was a waste--it took me less then 3 minutes to find him on the recorder site.

Many states have assumed spousal joint tenancy when married, so you could marry someone in secret and have them hold the house, and you legally get de facto ownership of it. Maybe something else will come to me. But, even still the bank will want you to sign off on the mortgage because you have title to the house. Everyone with title to a property must sign off on the loan in most circumstances.

If anyone ever has any questions, feel free to PM me. I'm very, very good at this, using these recorder and assessment sites, among others.

You make a great point about the variances when it comes to state by state. Some are easier then others. My province has one that theoretically does not divulge justice system and government member's addresses, but somehow the info can still make it onto third-party sites.

We had a case a few years back where a dude found a judge's home address from an address lookup site, then beat the shit out of him in his yard cuz the judge fucked him over in a divorce case.

Nancy Pelosi's house in Cali is fairly well known, and people left a pig's head on the bitch's doorstep last year too.

I've always disliked Tim. He kept coming up on my feed, so I'd watch, and other people kept retweeting him and the only thing I really learned from him was that he worked at an air-port, that he is half asian despite looking whiter than most, and that he used to be a skater. Now I'm remembering all the fucking pop-culture references he drags ups to justify his takes (how the fuck did I miss that?). How can you take anyone seriously who when talking philosophy will not quote someone like Nietzsche and instead talk about Batman?

I only started paying close attention to him from the Tim Pool clips account where it highlighted just how many retarded predictions and political takes Tim makes. Like the 2020 election was going to be a "Red Wave" in which the entire United States (including California and Hawaii) would go Republican and be "red from coast to coast". Even if Trump won that is a fucking stupid prediction.

I think the reason Tim Pool gets a pass for being a fucking pop culture obsessed small brained man child with a massive track record of retard takes it that he is kinda boring to watch. You really have to agree with him political and have low functioning autism to not get bored and watch something else, so a lot of it floats under the radar.

I just liked him as background noise and a way to get some quick news updates, but I don't think I ever watched his videos all the way through. Timcast IRL wasn't bad though when he had good guests on, but then he was just the weakest part of the show. The more his ego grew the more I just started to dislike him to the point that I've just stopped watching his show, with RA being the breaking point where he went from tolerable to a complete joke for me.

Also, I think he's come out as a quadroon now instead of a Korean halfu.

Whole thing really grew out of the Columbine shooting.

Cops didn't go in at first, they waited to get a handle on the situation and while they were waiting more kids got shot.

They got a lot of heat for this leading to the current outcome of guns blazing.
And really, it's a damned if they do, damned if they don't situation for cops. If the cops take their time to assess a situation while people are being killed, the public would be like, "WHY DIDN'T YOU DO MORE?!?!?!" If they are more proactive and it turns out the call was fake, people would scream, "WHY DIDN'T YOU TAKE YOUR TIME??!?!!"

I don't mind if people are looking things up in real time, but they should be open about it. The superhero references are really dumb, especially using Thanos who has a pretty dumb backstory and motivation. One big thing that made me not like Tim was when I realized he wasn't just doing the super hero reference thing for the audience, but he was actually just that into super heroes that he viewed the world through reference to them.
superhero references can be interesting but I'm so tired of the same movie-based ones.

Like, bringing Thanos up over and over is tiring.

lol Ian collects comics and believes in crystals. Is this man retarded?

Ian is legally retarded according to Rekieta, and I love the look Uncivil Law has when Rekieta says it:

Isn't he also one of those retards who thinks Gamergate got Trump elected?

Beanieman constantly makes references to pop culture. He's really consistent at making dragonball z references like the coomer he is.

I sometimes put Tim on as background noise to hear the cringe from him and Ian for a long time. HE MAKES DBZ REFERENCES SO MUCH ITS SO CRINGEY. He will compare real life to moments from the anime. I took a break until I saw the jack Murphy thread the day it was made.

That's why the jack Murphy thread interests me so much because for the longest time I would always avoid every video featuring Jack and something about him always rubbed me the wrong way. Then again everyone who promotes a book bothers me.

"Rant" over.

If there is even a chance of a situation where someone's life, person or property could be in danger then as if the Police would drop by the judges house to ask for a warrant
warrants can be done over the phone now, the poolice would just give their favorite judge a call in such a situation
To the absolute retard that made the fake call to swat Tim: I hope it was worth committing a federal crime punishable with up to 20 years in jail. Hope you have a plane ticket to a country with no extradition treaty handy, start running.
christ you sound like a fucking retard. do you even know that? do you know what we do to people like you? start running

obviously the correct decision is to not accept the credibility anonymous calls that say "I are here to commit murder at this streamer's house! better come fast!"
and if a streamer ever commits murder, well, it would at least be funny

You know, I don't remember him making any DBZ references, just Marvel, but I might just be forgetting those. Really though DBZ was fine when we were kids but it's not that good and DB Super kind of sucked.

I had the same view of Jack, just thought he was a weird old dude looking for friends so skipped almost each episode he was in. Thinking back on it, the ones I did watch with him, he did seem rather off.

And speaking of Jack, the only references Tim should have in regards to DBZ are those involving a Cuckcoon.

I feel like a paranoid asshole now with the way you guys are reacting to Pool's spergout because I would have probably been as pissed as Beanieman was with the cops in my house.
Fuck the police. The past two years should have made every single person on the PLANET hate those jackboots.
