Out of the different swatters out there that made a comment about their intentions, how many actually intended to kill someone with the swatting? I'm not defending the practice as it's a retarded thing to do and people can die, but I don't think most people doing it as an attempt at killing someone but rather to fuck with them and get attention. Something that Tim is giving this incident a lot of.
Look man, he can either suck rogans cock for the umpteenth time or speak of the civil war that started in his compound. Its complicated

Livestream fuckery happened a moment ago. Everyone was talking about student loan debt and then it stopped for a couple minutes. Tim said their internet boxes or someshit failed at the same time and are back up now. Could be nothing, could be something.

To be fair, it's exactly those kinds of people who have the most to learn from an instructor in the first place. Anyone fit and coordinated already have what they need.

The funny thing is the instructor was brought in to teach them self defense, but took one look at them and decided to go with basic fitness instead as a starter.

He has the dirty jobs guy on
Jack did a dirty job as he is a dirty man.

The weakest link in even the best encryption scheme is the lazy operator who uses numbers on his one-time pad on consecutive days.

The only brute force necessary is the kind directed at your kneecaps if you don't cough up the keys.

99% of the time you aren't hacked by nefarious agents working from a list, you're just the digital equivalent of leaving a wallet in an unlocked car in a bad neighborhood.

Too much faith in packaged commercial tech and personal complacency is behind every successful hack you'd suffer, even the companies that are struck invite it to a degree

Getting hacked isn't proof you're important these days. So I don't know why it's worth social media cred.
That's why the first thing I did when I got a new laptop was uninstall that garbage ass McAfee, cause their AV is like hiring retards as private security.
Whenever a company gets hacked I always have to ask myself, Okay, which boomer secretary clicked on a spam email that had a keylogger or piece of ransomware as an attachment?

The worst thing is that at one point I worked for a smaller company and we got one of those emails that's a fake PO to an order that was in the works over a year ago, because the company that was placing the order got hacked. Like normal I called the company sending the suspicious email to confirm it's what I thought it was, and they obviously said that yes such and such was hacked and now their account was sending fishing emails.

Being the good employee I went to tell the inside sales floor and others not to open the attachments or click the links, figuring no one opened the email yet because everyone was always painfully slow to respond to emails and whenever anything was asked of them they'd mention how swamped they were with work and emails from the day prior. This one day everyone had opened that one email already except for one person who was actually doing something else. The stupidest part was the purchasing department people told me they had opened the link and were entering their log in information, trying to get in to see the PO. They had entered pretty much all of the information they could throw at it.

The majority of these people were young people who should know better, including the one who just gave away all of their logins and passwords as fast as they could. I wonder if this is how people felt when regular literacy was becoming a commonplace thing, just watching people who couldn't figure out what a book was or why they needed to know how to read or write. I'm no cyber security expert but really if you get an email response to something from a year ago you should have some common sense.

I just want to say that Democrats attempting to disqualify popular Republicans from running for reelection is a pretty fast way to get that Civil War 2: Electric Boogaloo to pick up steam. I thought it was annoying how Tim kept insisting that a second Civil War was inevitable every other video, but I think we'll soon owe him an apology if the Democrats actually try to lock out Republicans from even running for election.

Imagine the pandemonium of spontaneously disenfranchising eighty million gun owners because you inexplicably hate the orange man.

Yeah, for all he rags on the public education system, he sure does agree with their interpretation of history.

I'm not sure that Tim Pool is completely wrong in his doomposting, I just think he's ignorant and forgets that this "civil war" shit (or whatever form it'll take) usually requires an economic component, such as a major depression, which we do not yet have.

We do, however, have the conflict and division... who knows what the future holds.

If Tim really wanted to be in on the action though he'd just disguise himself. Buy a fucking toupee man and fucking record the real shit and stop pretending you're a commentator.

He'd make actual progress if he stopped being scared of antifa milkshakes, left the compound and talked to locals.

Why even do that? He should send some of his stooges to just record shit for him.

Well, the last two he hired are furious at him for shutting down their Jan. 6 footage.

Also, I'd take his Civil War prediction more seriously if he wasn't such a damn weenie about it. The boy who cried wolf was right at one point, after all.

His fears are reasonable, since his opponents think he, the milquetoast commentator he is, is Nazi to the extreme. No, one thing I will not fault Pool for is cowardice, because we don't live in times that reward bravery. Antifa are the types that would throw normal milkshakes ten times to laugh at everyone for being cowards and then pack the 11th full of hydrochloric acid to disfigure him permanently while the cops will be ordered to stand down after investigation reveals a prominent left wing politician's offspring might have done it. No, Tim is more than rational, and while I don't enjoy watching Tim rehash ideas in the slightest I will not fault him for trying to stay alive and not look like an acid gollum, haha. The milkshake thing is no joke. Those people want you acclimated to "milkshakes" so they can add more "ingredients" later. Those could be rocks, explosives, or battery acid. The left does that. They've always done that and pulled up the mantle of martyr. They've done it against real fascists, too, but they've also done it to small-r republicans and moderates, too. Tim's enemies are no joke. They're nutso. Whatever flaws Tim has, his enemies have 10x over.

For whatever Mr. Pool's faults are, he is not an awful man or particularly stupid. Though... he really should PM me next time he thinks a Trust is gonna hide his identity. Mr. Timothy Pool is not a grifter and in today's politics that's probably as good a compliment as any. He may not be a brilliant thinker, but we have almost none of those these days.

Yup. I see so many aging former liberals and centrists equate cancel culture to McCarthyism, and it's a false equivalency.

Most of McCarthyism (both what McCarthy and the HUAC actually did AND the Hollywood blacklists, which get pinned on McCarthy even though they were a separate thing) was focused on going after people who were members of the US Communist Party, which was directly aligned with the Soviets, or were otherwise doing work for the Soviet Union. Literal agents of a hostile foreign power. And in a vast majority of those cases, they were proven to be completely correct when the Soviet archives were opened.

So they weren't just guilty of differing opinions. They were literally spreading enemy propaganda, and in some cases they were even being paid or given other incentives or resources to do so. They also tried to pressure other members of Hollywood into conforming their works to their views, something Walt Disney experienced personally, which is why he testified before the HUAC, something for which he's baselessly smeared to this day (whatever you may think of (((the tribe))) assertions that Disney was an antisemite are nonsense).

Meanwhile, the public narrative of the so-called "Red Scare" has largely been shaped by famous showbiz commies and fellow travelers like Arthur Miller, who were mad about their buddies getting exposed. That Miller's "The Crucible" is still used in school to teach kids about the "Red Scare" is ridiculous once you realize that it's using false accusations (of witchcraft) as a metaphor for accusations that have been proven many times over to be true (the Hollywood Eight were registered members of the Communist Party and were using their positions in Hollywood to spread communist propaganda). Hell, Arthur Miller himself REFUSED to rewrite movie scripts to show communists as villains or have "pro-America" messages.
