Tim Pool - 'journalist' who claims to be a sensible centrist & sucks Sargon of Akkad's wiener; Afraid of the Milkshake ANTIFAs

Decided to tune in to Tim for a second while waiting on another stream, and first thing they do is compare student loan forgiveness to PPP loans. Regardless of your stance on student loans, it's not the same thing as a student loan is something you have to take action to take out in hopes of it bringing you more income in the future and you have no obligation or requirement to take a student loan. The PPP loans on the other hand were a result of the government forcing businesses to shut down.

You just can't compare a voluntary loan to a reimbursement or involuntary force against you.

That's the thing about Pim that just makes me facepalm. All he does is read the news other people gathered and then finds a way to tie it into one of the same 3 or 4 topics he rants about. I get he isn't the first person out there to do the whole "read article and react" schtick but the guy used to be an actual journalist, now he's no different from the Quartering.
Nope he was never a journalist he was always full of shit.

Timcast - Only Ever Wanted (Official Music Video)

Auto tune to all hell. It's also boring. Tim actually has a good singing voice, if he actually uses it in its proper range and does not rely on computers like this abortion. Will of the People is actually a good song. This is just corporate, and it screams "money makes my garage band sound good, thanks dad!"

Timcast - Only Ever Wanted (Official Music Video)

Yea, no. I got a minute in and gave up and I loved "Will of the People" when it came out, something about this just feels like shit and I can't get into it. Hope his other stuff is better as he does have some musical talent.

Edit: Forced myself to watch the whole thing. I wasn't sure if she died or they broke up while watching, looks like it ended up being both? I just think it's doing too much in one video, trying to tell a story of people buying a fixer upper together and building a life, a break up, and a tragic death, while also being titled as something about desire. This is basically four or more videos/songs lumped into one that makes it feel like a song by committee which isn't good.

If this was a story about a guy and a girl buying a fixer upper together and building a life over time, that would be a good video and would fit the title. Think "We Didn't Start the Fire" which shows the history of a household basically in the background. Then they could have made two other songs and videos about alternate timelines where they broke up after a fight, where one died after some bullshit, etc. That would actually be a fun series of videos about life and how our choices play out, you know, an album about one couple and the multiverse of choices that could have happened in their relationship to show the complexity of humanity. As it stands, it's a mess.

It might've been a channel Tim had up for another reason and he just repurposed it for this. He's done that before (He had a gaming channel with 3 videos on it that he repurposed for the van life channel that didn't go anywhere.

Timcast - Only Ever Wanted (Official Music Video)

Okay that was terrible. Half the song is just Tim singing over overly processed reversed guitar, then when the actual band kicks in Tim's vocals become really bad. Again Tim can make some decent music and he isn't a terrible singer, but this is bad on so many levels. He doesn't have the voice for this kind of late 2000s radio friendly emo/post-hardcore thing he really wants to do (which usually had some pretty boy singer with a whiney voice).

I miss Tim and Adam jamming out. Preferred that to whatever this over-processed mess is. Still a damn shame about whatever happened between them. Hopefully whatever else he has is better, because I know he's capable. Maybe Tim just preferred when Adam was a bit more clueless because he wanted someone to make him look better, like all the hot girls always have the fat chick they drag along?

I don't want to be THAT mean to Ian to say he's the replacement fat chick after Adam had his awakening, because when he's on point it's great, but damn... Sticking up and saying "I like Jack Murphy" on the show last night. Bro, stand up for his right to speak and everything because of the principal of it but maybe don't go too much further than that. It's one thing to say that it's wrong to shit on people or teams or bands because it's the group thing to do like the Nickelback example, but sometimes there actually is a damn good reason people get shit on the way they do and for people to question why you'd still like them.

If it was part of the members only where this conversation happened and everyone is clueless to what the fuck I'm on about let me know and I'll edit in some more context.

Okay, Josh finally won the Great Troon War of 2022, so now I can post that Tim made a video on Sunday, which he has not done in two years or so at this point.

Now, this video is to plug his new song, which is fine. That makes perfect sense for him to do and is not lolcow worthy at all. What is lolcow worthy is that the first 10 minutes of this video talking about Only Ever Wanted are Tim complaining about people mocking his last music video, Will of the People, which came out two years ago. Even his response to Hasan Piker mocking it, he admits that Hasan put up this video months ago. This is not relevant to anything, Tim, walk away from your failures and embrace your victories, don't try and use your victories to somehow justify your failures.

But I love this cope from him in this video: "Will of the People has two million views on YouTube in two years. That is in line with all the top name brand bands."

That is bullshit. Now, I am no music expert. Basically the only band I listen to that is probably still active is Imagine Dragons. I am sure Imagine Dragons put out a song in 2020, so let's do this live to celebrate KiwiFarms back online. I did no research beforehand, let's go.

Imagine Dragons only put out 2 videos in all of 2020 on their main channel, shockingly. One of them is a song called Nothing Left to Say.

January 2020, and it has 71,836,738 views. Yeah, Tim. Two million views in two years, definitely comparable to the top name bands, on YouTube.

The other video they put out in December 2020, so it was released after Will of the People. This video is a cover they did of White Christmas, a song that everyone has heard a million times before and when you want nostalgia you go for the original, not a cover. How many views does it have? Survey says...

3,036,603 views. So even a shitty holiday cover by a band not known for any sort of Christian themes, a song which likely has very little play value outside the US because it is not only a Christian holiday song but a cover of a song made popular in the US alone, and it still has 50% as many views as your song about revolution. Cope, seethe and beanie more, you malding hapas twat.

Even worse Tim is bragging about views on “Will of the People” when be runs the video as an ad. Imagine Tai Lopez bragging about how many times his “Here in my garage with my Lamborghini” video was viewed.

Totally agree. By the way, power level update. I got curious and watched that Nothing Left to Say music video and I have to say it is a damned good song. I can see why it has so many views.

Tim knows his song sucks but hey be sure to go buy it to “send a message, spread the word and reclaim the cultural space”.

I'm going to give Tim the benefit of the doubt on why this video/song sucks. I'm going to go out on a limb and assume he was trying to make goyslop music and at the same time he was trying to prove to himself that all the equipment and software he bought, along with paying Carter, was a great investment so he overused all of it and it turned out to be a mess.

Got to love the comparison to the Daily Wire again. What did Ben Shapiro do to this poor man for him to be so obsessed?

But I love this cope from him in this video: "Will of the People has two million views on YouTube in two years. That is in line with all the top name brand bands."
That just means he's ok at best. Ken Aschorp who has less than half a million subscribers and randomly drops a song once in a blue moon does just as well, but Tim has a full podcast and more where he shills his songs. For example, Ken's recent song about everyone's favorite Rabbit has over 500k views in the last three months, a song he put out a year ago has 2.4 million and so on. He even has a few songs with over 8 million views.

That's not a fair comparison at all. Ken Ashcorp is a furry. That community is tight knit, autistic and obsessed.

...I mean more than we are.

Anyway, here's Tim's primary video today:

Tim continues to push his "the 2020 election was kinda fucked but if we call it fraud, no one will vote, and we need to keep voting because we'll win for sure next time" narrative. He tries to paint the fraud as completely ridiculous and illegitimate. We all saw the line. Josh featured it. There were a huge number of votes counted all at once, with 0 of them for Trump, at 4 AM. Not heavily skewed toward Biden. Not unfavorable towards Trump. Trump got 0 of those votes that were tallied at that time while Biden got thousands. And we are all supposed to accept that?

"Oh there was a process, people tried to argue against it but their cases got dismissed due to lack of standing but that doesn't mean there was fraud!"

No, it just means that if there is fraud that we have no recourse against it, Tim. We are only allowed the leaders that the deep state permits us to have. It is an illusion of choice and supporting it is disgusting.

10:50 - "And the fact that Kari Lee - heh, Kari Lee? - Kari Lake won, and her positions on all of this? shows after you do win, and you can, in the midterms, we will see some serious changes."

Kari Lake has not won her midterm, you retard. She won a primary. The Democrats can still cheat. Why would you think that winning a primary where there are no Democrats would be an example of how we can have a fair election against Democrats?

A better comparison is probably this random eurobeat remix by youtuber called Turbo. His remix of Astronomia also came out about 2 years ago and has 3mil+ views. He also has less than 500k subscribers.

Got to love the comparison to the Daily Wire again. What did Ben Shapiro do to this poor man for him to be so obsessed?
That is a good question. I think it's because Daily Wire is actually successful at the goal of creating cultural artifacts that people actually want. They're also good at being an (over-produced IMO) podcast company that attracts talented commentators that can stand on their own, even Matt Walsh.* Meanwhile, Tim is stuck being an outrage talking head who has to carry his entire company. No one would watch Ian Crossland's podcast and everything other than repackaged Daily Mail articles aren't well-known.

One reason why Daily Wire media seems to work over Tim's media is what it's rooted in. Terror on the Prairie is a Western told from the wife's perspective and Run Hide Fight is Die Hard with a teenage girl. Solid premises to movies with sufficient cinematography to be taken seriously as movies. They also look professional enough to attract jilted former Hollywood actors to show up in their media and Shapiro does have a fondness for movies from the 50-60s. So he does want high-quality drama films.

Tim's subject matter in media is rooted in the 90s to 00s media, i.e. the reality TV show era. Even back then, reality TV shows were considered trash media with minimal effort put into them. Music, likewise, was not as musically complex as in earlier eras as bands were chasing the Grunge genre, which does look like low quality production even though they relatively aren't. As others have pointed out, Tim's band looks like a garage band. One with thousands of dollars in audio equipment. It also doesn't help that Tim isn't very edgy despite being the frontman for an edgy genre of music.

*Matt Walsh is the Yamcha of that company too. Ben Shapiro can be Gohan and Andrew Klaven can be Krillin.

Does anyone expect the guy who went balls deep against Ivermectin to avoid the wrath of youtube to say anything that would lose him those precious ad dollars?

Tim gets preachy in this video I posted. 19 minutes in and he's saying how we all need to go buy Tom McDonald's Fake Woke song on iTunes and how even with the large audience of Timcast and the Daily Wire the anti establishment crowd isn't organized as a threat like the progressives.

Tim if we wanted to organize it would most definitely not be around you. Your Friday morning video where you bash student loan relief because you specifically hate the rich is not a sentiment shared by the right. You are a 90s leftist who makes every effort to look as unprofessional as possible and then demanding people take you seriously.

Part of a conservative mindset is the idea that conformity is a good thing.

The thing about Shapiro, is Shapiro knows how to provide value to people as talented as him. Tim on the other hand is scared to do so and regardless of the baggage Adam has Tim lost a golden opportunity to make Adam a different show on his network, because you could have fired the guy by giving him his own thing directly and never mentioned the word "fired".

When I think of Daily Wire I can name most of the people despite not watching them really, Andrew Klavan, Matt Walsh, Jeremy Boring, Ben Shapiro, and I'm sure there are others but each of those are their own show. Now with Tim, I can name most of the people on Tim's main show, but outside of that, I guess Sleepless? I want to say the main guy on Pop Culture Crisis is Brett or Brian?

And I watched way more Tim products than Daily Wire products, and if not for Cast Castle I wouldn't know shit about anyone on his team. Hell, his tard hires like Rocco are probably his most famous right now.
