he needs to lose the beanie. He also needs to read actual news (Of his own) instead of just reading Daily Mail. He has such an audience, that he could change some things, and go for the better, and maybe that is in his plan, however, it does seem to me he just wants to take the easiest route of, "News" and then just skate. if it makes him money, more power to him, but when you have a lot of eyes on you, yes, you can guide people, but the way he is doing it.... Could use some improvement. However, if just a grifter, it doesn't matter - Do the job the easy way, rake in the bucks, and retire.

I can say this much about the guy, he does interest me in how he holds such a following, and when that tipping point may come that he just goes off some different path, or if he actually improves what he does.

Okay that was terrible. Half the song is just Tim singing over overly processed reversed guitar, then when the actual band kicks in Tim's vocals become really bad. Again Tim can make some decent music and he isn't a terrible singer, but this is bad on so many levels. He doesn't have the voice for this kind of late 2000s radio friendly emo/post-hardcore thing he really wants to do (which usually had some pretty boy singer with a whiney voice).

My thoughts on Tim and musical preferences notwithstanding, the song lacks identity and suffers from maudlin lyrics. The entire theme is a guy suffering from a bad break-up and desperately wanting to go back to his ex but can't now that death has kept them apart. Not inherently a bad premise, but it needs to be expressed with the right songwriting and carried with dignity. This falls woefully short.

Not the worst thing I've ever heard, though.
